The good Battlefield devs left and made Embark Studios. Their first game is out and it's called The Finals. Free to play. Very very good.

Don't care what anyone says, but everything about BF3 makes it a masterpiece.

On the 360 and ps3 it's, but on the PC and Xbox one they're horribly optimized and will ruin what you love about it. Heck I'm glad I didn't play BFBC2 on PC and stopped quickly on the Xbox one. A saying comes to mind. " Just because you can do it, doesn't mean you should. "

I miss actually being excited for new battlefield content.

@@callofdutymw2trane Bf1 is no where near as fun as Bf3 or Bf4. Bf1 didn't have the best gunplay and had barely any customization at all (mainly due to the setting). I logged over 1000 hours for both bf3 and bf4 - but with Bf1 i got bored of it long before the dlcs came out

8 years later we can say that it was a game ahead of its time. Absolute masterpiece.

I still remember turning it on on my ps3 the first time after 4 weeks of vacation (I got the game as a easter present). Playing Bazaar. Intense action everywhere I look. The sound vibrating my eardrums. Feeling like I was there in person inside of all this chaos. I will never forget that moment. Bf 3 and Bf 4 will forever stay in my hearth and they are one of the best multiplayer games ever made in my opinion. Nothing has ever come close to what I experienced in Bf3 and 4. The graphics made the game even more intense.

come to watch these trailers again and again,after 10 years it's still my favorite game,I miss BF3😭

Bf "2042" never should existing.

Having Armored Kill out right after Close Quarters was a killer move. From engagements that were at best 70-80m. long with PDW and shotguns to massive maps with bigger guns to play with. Bored of clearing 100+ rooms every hour ? Go out and try the M1128 on Bandar Desert. Heard enough 105 and 120mm. ? Back to Gun Master on Ziba tower. Simple stuff.

4 is technically a remaster of 2 with the return of some factions from the previous game.

2023 and this game still the best FPS ever created

Now that's a real Battlefield! Previously EA knew how to do, nowadays there is no Battlefield that saves, Battlefield 2,3,4 are simply amazing.

Well you can blame upper management’s “creative direction”, unstable work culture and lack of incentives of keeping previous talent in this studio. You can tell by how everything is at this point that EA’s upper echelon is going to implode soon along with every asset they seized from buying off their competition

It was an era of great gaming. Summer break and after school. Playing on a Xbox 360 with a box tv and a cheap one ear mic. Simple Nostalgia BF3 and 4 were masterpieces

I come here to watch these trailers every now & again just to prove to myself that yes, BF3 was indeed this good & i wasnt just a rose tinted memory blip. Look how far we've fallen brothers. RIP Battlefield 2002-2018.

+AJ Alexander Battlefield 3 used Frostbite 2. Battlefield 3 was a superb FPS game. Absolutely phenomenal. Battlefield 4 was good but in terms of gun play, overall gameplay and experience, maps, overall feel of the game, Battlefield 3 is superior. And man do I want to go back 3 years and play battlefield 3 all over.

I want this dlc to have a return to bf4 with 64 players it be will epic

tank domination on alborz mountain was so nice, both teams meeting on the frozen lake. it was a great dlc. bf3 never got boring.

Dice clearly needs to bring back the guys in charge of the battlefields' trailers. Its a story told in 2 minutes like all the BF3 trailers. Bravo!

7 years later and it still looks good IMO. Many many happy memories of Bf1943, Desert Combat Mod, BF2 and clan matches on a sunday evening on BF2 and 3 ahhhhhhh :)
