20:47 - One of the most one-sided and brutal BF2 games I've ever seen! The enemy team got pulverized!

i have so much memories from this game.... the infamous MINE video for example. or the C4 allah-agbar IED style videos. The early 2000s was the best for gaming, many games that were born in those years are still going strong!

In response to "This game would have been perfect if we would have had two grenades instead of four." at 1:00:40 : When they were making patch 1.50, I created a thread that discussed this issue. There were many pages in that thread and various approaches were suggested, such as that nades wouldn't be refilled, but mostly this approach was chosen. I even urged them to make it a server option, but for some reason no one even wanted that. I think that the dev team hade decided to make no changes to the gameplay because they had a pretty messy code and only one programmer on the team. However, they fixed dolphin diving in 1.50, so there's that. I have a dream myself of making a game just like Battlefield 2, but with focus on improving the gameplay based on all the issues that existed in the game, but I currently don't really have enough time to pursue that project fully. It's refreshing to see stuff like BattleBit being produced these days. I still can't figure out why the milsim games such as Project Reality, Squad, and (initially) BattleBit live on, but no one seems to have picked up on the teamplay aspect of this game, which was so much fun. Now it seems to be all graphics and pay-to-win.

I wish there were more hours in a day... taking care of work, all my stuff after and still have 10 hours to play. I always use my hour or so at night to play AIX but miss out on vanilla. Gotta start alternating throughout the week!

Anytime you say "Missed!" you sound VERY german for a split second, because the word "Mist" (meaning "shit" in german) is used and pronounced exactly the same way lol.

I can't enter the server. I've never played this server. He keeps saying that I killed too many teammates. I don't know if my latency is high or what. I can't enter the server. I'm in China.

From what I hear they automatically ban from certain areas or something like that because of cheaters. You need to go on the 2F4Y forums and request a unban

They were much bigger. They made the maps smaller in recent games to be more intense, but it shrunk the room for teamwork when you can't maneuver
