Hey chad, really enjoying your videos! I havent made any in a while, but I love seeing that there are still people making content for this game. Also a thing that I learned the hard way, is that attachments only provide a portion of the move speed benefits that are listed, meaning the fall short mag only actually provides a 7 percent move speed bonus. Idk why the devs made it like this, because its incredibly confusing for anyone who didnt play when they made this change. All that being said, I still think your videos are really good, and I hope you are enjoying making videos :)

I read someone on reddit say that the tooltip for the short mag is bugged and that it's actually 1.07 instead of the listed value of 1.15, any idea if this is true?

I think it is 1.15 but how it works is each category of weapon has a run speed, and this means it's the battle rifle run speed times by 1.15 extra That's why smgs and pdws move faster even if they don't have 1.15 to match the FAL

I was having a great time FALing and also AUG. Then I got board and prestiged, and have so much regret.

There's plenty of great low rank weapons, if you like the AUG try the M4, try the groza instead of the FAL

Feels like an oversight right now and I'd expect it to change (but who knows...) It also invalidates the ACR which is meant to have a highest movespeed full length rifle niche 😭

From what I have heard. SMG speed multiplier is actually different and faster than a rifle's movement speed multiplier. So SMGs are still faster.

​@@dustyturkeythat makes sense. there should be no world you can run about with a battle rifle/7.62 mags faster than smg/9mm mags, maybe they should update the numbers in game to display the true movespeed (including the SMG multiplier)

It's time will come, but it might not be the glowing review you were hoping for! 😅 That said I've not used it enough yet, so hopefully it'll impress me more in real usage than in the test range.

As soon as I saw FAL gives 1.15 multiplier to run speed I immediately switched my speedy engineer's MP7 for the FAL. Now grinding for attachments that make it more tolerable to use.

Ah! It doesn't work as I said here, The FAL gives 1.15x the move speed value for Battle Rifles! It still works out slower than the MP7 giving 1.10x the move speed value for PDW's.

I think that's valid too! I think some people use the BCM Gunfighter grip for the FAL for this reason - got to admit i didn't try it here - so good comment!

@@ClippyTactical Depends on firerate. It`s also why i do the opposite on Ak-15, cause low firerate. Almost no thows left-right. Big damage, so anything dies fast(unless fresh support). And like any gun with big recoil, tippie-tappies is a must

In my opinion you should combine your mags more often

Ah, so the reason I don't use this feature much is because it's a lot slower than just refilling with ammo box. You're right though in the first end clip, I could have done that. Most fps don't offer the feature and that's really it's only use (when you're out of refills and ammo boxes, and it's quite rare that I last that long to remember about it!)

I keep getting frustrerad with this gun, but i also keep using it since it shreds hella fine...

@@ClippyTactical well, I've felt it's been to hard to controll at medium-long range, but I will try the setup in the video, I'm using some other attachments. But it's a beast for defensive work.

@@Bustermaniax the recoil is unpredictable at range. If you lose control of the target just ease up and reacquire. At very long range, go for heads and tap tap tap like a dmr

Ngl, the iron sights are shit.

Yes - best to just go CQB for the first 5 kills - something like WAKI bridge where the iron sights dont matter as much
