Oddly, when Robo was younger his style was a lot more like EE’s. I’ve actually never seen a super freak surf talent whose style changes so dramatically as Robo’s. He looks like a completely different surfer than the one I remember as a grom.

ethans rail game and style is so much better than everyone else, no contest, but jack definietly takes it out in heavy water conditions, and maybe the air however he always lands on the roof and has to fight for the completion compared to some other much smoother aerialists such as gabriel medina, JJF

As an Ethan Ewing fan, I would love to see him take more risks with his maneuvers.

Both insane surfers. Ethan has amazing style but Robbo is an insane waterman.....in big, powerful, hard to read conditions Jack has a John John like connection to the ocean. In a head to head I'm loyal to our home town boy, Jack.

seems Ethan has lost his flow to suit the judges scoring on individual manoeuvres , whereas Jack has maintained his perpetual motion. watching side by side Ethan is stop start frustrating now. Jack is more like the greats Andy irons and Tom Curran

The judges love Ethan's straightening surf and are always overvaluing his scores.

Ludicrous assessment is ludicrous. EE’s rail work is as good as anyone’s on tour. So are his tail whips. Literally the only reason he gets hated on is because he rarely takes to the air.
