I think the opposite. The game is beautiful, but very repetitive. The combat in this game is sensational, but because it's repetitive and extremely linear, you end up getting sick of having to do the same things over and over again, which ends up being frustrating.

Marius would be a true Damocles if he had a sequel. In seriousness, I think a sequel would be great. In another time of the Roman Empire, plenty of corrupt Emperors and Generals in the history of Rome. Also plenty of possible protagonists.

This game is over 15 years old with better graphics and fight mechanics than 75% of games in 2024

One of the best looking games I have ever played. I just redownloaded the game yesterday and it’s amazing how graphics still better then 95 percent of game now in the 2024 smh.

Man this game is so old still it feels as if it was released recently. The music, graphics, storyline and what not. Amazing game. Took me back to my college days.

This doesn't look like a 2013 game to be honest. The graphics and gameplay was ahead of it's time by at least 6 years.

This game has a special place in my heart!! One of the best games i have ever played.

This game still looks so good it's amazing it was a launch title for the Xbox one.

This game was legendary. Pure fire despite being short.

One of the few games I literally finished in one go. It took me 26 hours of sitting in front of my PC and finished the whole story. I skipped class just to finish it XD Great to see people still know this game

This game is so good and its graphics aged really well.

I don't understand how this game plays so smoothly on my old 2017 i3, MX150 laptop, while looking better than games of today that requires high parameters.

This is one of those games that isn't some major hit that left a mark on history. But it is one of those games that you would look back fondly on, knowing that you were there when it came out.

One of the best games I have ever played! Shame we do not have a new game like that!

This game came out in 2013 but It looks like 2020 game highly underratted game 💯

This game needs a sequel, it's great and looks better than 90% of games in 2024.

Imagine a Rome 3 TW with this graphic...but what a super- monster of computer or console you have to have to handle this. Imagine a battle with 4 armies (yours + reinforcements, against 2 enemy armies), with 12-14k models looking like this. In original version, the models had around 150k polygons, and the second edition, after optimisation, "just" 85k (but with improved textures). The models in Rome2 TW, as far i understood, typically have 8 to 12 thousand polygons per modell.

I've replayed this 10 times bout all the xtras! The only thing pisses me off are the few glitches were he beats the shield to much and can't stop but once you figure out all the executions its awesome fighting like 10 dudes and sometimes the javelin threw sticks
