That the size engine I need for my 18 ft Crestliner.
When you had the carb apart in Video 1, it appeared that the seal between the lower bowl and the carb was badly grooved. This is the seal that goes around the carb pick up tube and it has to seal otherwise the fuel will not go up the tube and out to the venturi. This is just a suggestion. This could be causing you to run with the choke on, making the fuel come up the pick up tube.

The 57 and 58 did not have a fuel pump? I missed the first video. Have you modified them and added in fuel pumps?
I've never had a carb fail in all my years... odd...

I wonder what the point of failure is? I mess around with 2 stroke saw carbs and they are typically always repairable with cleaning and a kit. Good luck! Enjoy the content
