I'm only watching this again for the Ba'al scene. Only he can be so cool while being defeated.

I just realsied something.... The edings in Mass Effect 3, particularly the "destroy" one are awfully similar to how they used the Dakara device on the replicators. The only thing that can stop this mechanical galaxy wiping menace is a device designed by a long gone civilisation. The wave effect is similar (minus the colors of course) In both cases they are also being transmitted across the galaxy in a similar manner, just replace the Stargates with Mass Relays.

The ending doesn't really make any sense since Anubis isn't fully ascended how can he have any power to fight back against a fully ascended being ? All he has is some knowledge and his non-corporeal state

A year late but, Anubis was very close to being a fully ascended. He was forbidden by the other ascended from using anything he couldn't have acquired as a Goauld, but he did have considerable power. Enough that Oma could never fully defeat him. Anubis never used it outside this because it would mean instant punishment from the Others.

So they are all ascended. And the ancient were the first to ascend....why does this place look like an american diner and not some place the ancients would be more familiar with? Or does that place look different depending on who observes it (in this case Daniel)?

I think it's the last one. In most fiction, higher planes of existence change their appearance and their structure depending on who's observing it to give the same meaning. It's almost like there are no "language barriers" in the higher planes. A diner is a social place to rest and socialize, but it is never a permanent residence. Therefore, Daniel saw this social meeting place in the higher plane as an American diner, because that was what he was most familiar with.

We don´t really know. But it really seems so. They were kinda like punching bag for any new super weapon or superior ship in need of demonstration of power. Plus in 10 years they seen about 3 Goauld civil wars and minor power struggles, that huge Replicator galactic attack, and Ori invasion. And yet they are still most used capital ship class in galaxy.
