The quality of the thumbnails gets better with every video, they’ve all been absolutely fantastic recently, great stuff.

Every time I see a video calling MML a joke, I like to remind people that Nurse Wuffa's initial video on *Crazed Gross* called like "Hard+++++" (I didn't know about Battle Cats until late 2019, but I don't think Deadly stages existed back in 2015 when the video was made, let alone Merciless which would be what "Hard+++++ would be equivalent to today"), which says a LOT about how much the game has been powercreeped.

I did play the old strat of stacking midrangers and A. bahamaut, I remember trying for like 50+ attempts with dual dragon and paris to get the right luck, it was annoying at best lol.

This took me back to an era of Battle Cats content and gameplay that I didn't realise I missed so much until now

octopus cat: i have become powercreep, the destroyer of waves

One thing not mentioned in the video is that MJam's knockback removes Octo's hitbox, making the wave still appear for a moment until its hitbox returns. The wave is there for just long enough to kill the entire stack you just created.

This timing could not be better I’ve been looking for difficulty tier lists on the manic stages since I just unlocked them. 🙏

the music brings me back to the chillhola video on the manics, the songs on that video were what got me to start my first music playlist, with the songs from that video as some fo the first on it, and the rest of the songs in this video are all on it

Love these videos, but one thing that could improve is more accurate ottotocorps levels? Most players don't have 236,000 base health while fighting manics...

It's kind of a necessary weakness. It's a tradeoff for having Roe and Octo not deny Berserkory anymore due to how hard the Manic Islands push. Less overall waves makes up for not having to worry about Roe and especially Octo.

As someone who didn't have octo due to luck, M. gross was the most cancerous stage I've ever played in this game.I had around 30 attempts on that stage without octo or tourist and it was HELL. I beat it on my last attempt that day and remember going crazy after I beat it. Definitely 1st place without octo lmao.

I didn’t have Octo either, so I think I ended up resorting to two attack up combos, ABahamut timing (as one hit from him can knockback a Maniac Macho) and as many wave immune units I had as possible. Shoutouts to Brainwashed UFO and Haniwa, literally couldn’t have survived the stage to the point I was able to get money and ubercarry without them lol

I have to say beating manic island pre ItF 3 completion was definetly satisfying i put a ton of attempts into it and many more with rich cats and while i had a make the stage easier uber with D-izu i didnt use him instead opting for kaoluga (an interesting choice i dont know how that worked honestly i did have octo) and after like 25-35 attempts i won also M islands design is badass

haniwa cat works very well for manic island, manic dragon and especially manic lion. When haniwa and eraser are both lv 30, it can tank 3 hits instead of 1 from m island, 8 hits instead of 4 from mkd, and 4 hits instead of 2 from m lion. It also takes 3 hits from the otters in draconian instead of 2. It makes the manic stages much easier.

It’s pretty sad how easy you can make these stages if you have Epicfest ubers. I beat manic Mohawk, Legs, Lion, Island and Jamiera on my first attempt without even knowing what was in the level cuz I had D’arktanyan. I didn’t have Octopus or Courier at the time, either. (I guess a lot of it was luck with Jamiera’s waves) Manic Eraser sucked for me though screw that bs. But thank you really for this video, it was pretty helpful for my friend. I like how you have some strategies on how to actually beat the levels, too. Great job with the thumbnail, as well!

Genuinely surprised that Jamira and Dragon are on the lower rankings. Even with using ubers and whatnot, they were the last two, and therefore most troubling Manics I had to beat. In both stages I utilized Otaku Hacker (a collab unit) which provided me much needed support by weakening them from a distance.

I love how he included the methodology because he was fed up with the haters

For the bottom 2, yeah I totally agree, octo was the exact reason I was able to clear those stages. The top 2 I also agree. Unfortunately those are the stages my klutzy butt was focused on.T-T On lots of lion I always die 30 seconds after the initial rush. And for Ogre Island… I… hate… those… islands… so…much… they… shred… through… my… forces… WAY TOO FAST D:

15:33 I've only heard that manic axe was just very annoying to do since its a dark cat variant meaning the stage reward is doo doo and you have to struggle for said doo doo. The only reason you would do this manic stage is just for the full manic set and unlock clan of the manics. If clan of the manics didn't require all manic stages to be completed, than I bet people would say to just skip the stage

TBH, I remember cheesing Manic King Dragon using A. Bahamaut. He was Lvl 30. Good luck knowing how I did it.

Manic Mohawk, fairly simple CPU stage 5. Manic Jamiera. Idk about this one but I found it pretty easy, waves can be scary sometimes if Octo dies 4. Manic Eraser, slightly harder version of Manic Mohawk 3. Manic Flying, I just remember this one being annoyingly difficult 2. Manic Dark, guaranteed freeze as well as punishing Shy Boy waves followed by JK Bun Bun 1. Manic Island, level requirements are extreme and the Berserkory is threatening. Octo only works if high enough level to survive past Manic Island’s up until the base is reached Not done these manic stages in a while and some I have vague memories of

DMitama completely powercreeped Manic Island and most others for me and i beat it first try with no trouble at all lol. I had so much pain on manic eraser because I refused to use sniper.

I left before the video started and I thought it bugged out and skipped the vid because of the 2012 music 😭😭

I’ve beat only three maniacs but man we’re those 3 F.U.N. What they are Jamera, Macho legs, and most recently, King dragon. I rank them Macho legs: 3 the reason being as soon as you get octopus it becomes a joke. 2: Jamera, was pretty easy it only envolved a bit of skill (and octopus) 1: King dragon, for this stage you actually need a strategy. I let Shishiland deal with the otters because of his great damage. And after use Cyberpunk to keep them in 1 spot. Finally let your rushers chip the dragons down, some rushers you can use are, behamet and/or power cutter cat.

funny thing is with MKD, I ended up just barely squeezing out the cheese strat with level 30’s. Never gonna beat it normally since its hell.

Its kinda simple really, all you need is rich and cpu (Lineup I used : Manic Mohawk, Mohawk, Manic Eraser, Eraser, Jiangshi, MML, Seafarer, Cyborg, Ururun, C. Bahamut) P.S: If you have an anti traitless uber like Dark't, Gao, or Snow Miku, replace one of the legends with it. Lure the first lion close to base and spam meatshields, as well as spammable AoE attackers like MML, Cyborg, Seafarer, so on, so on, But dont do it too quickly, you want to take a bit of time to let some money build up Whenthe first one dies, stop spamming and save your money When the swarm comes, lure them just close enough to base, not too close, or theyll cripple the base Turn on cpu, as with any cpu, if you begin to run dry on cash, turn it off and spam only meatshields, send out legends or ubers with long enough distance to slowly chip down lions Once one of them is dead, turn cpu back on and you are golden, Badabing badaboom badabang, you beat Denentia spaghheti noodle Cat, and Treasure grinding will be about 100x easier

Didn’t manage a solo since one hit from Maniac Legs will shred a Brainwashed UFO Cat, but I managed it with a maxed level Haniwa and a near max Maniac Eraser (I only had up to level 20 unlocked I think) but after getting enough money to spawn a wave immune uber (used Gao for my attempt) and started spamming Brainwashed UFO it was a breeze. The beginning was brutal though mostly because I didn’t use a Rich Cat, oops

Xskull: Manic Lion is the 2nd hardest manic. Boogle: Manic Lion is a big joke.
