I agree with a lot of these takes! In my personal methodology for ranking collabs, I tend to rank them pretty much solely on how useful/unique their collectible units are (free AND gacha). So the changes I would have from your list would put something like Toshi underneath Evangelion, because units like Ramiel and Eva-Unit 00 fulfill niches no other unit in the game will, while others like Eva-Unit 01 and Asukasli are just plain busted for collab standards.

Yea Evangelion does have some better ubers than Toshi, but Evangelion's issue with Angel Killer still hurts the collab as a whole. You're essentially locked from rewards unless you are very late game or are lucky enough to get a unit with Angel Killer. Let alone the Eva baron having extremely boosted Angels, which some Angel Killer units (reitama cough cough) struggle with while others sweep. Although outside of the collabs and in general gameplay, I do agree with you with the units. Lastly about Ramiel and Eva 00. Cat Machine and Miku Tokyo exist. For Ramiel, I think the main problem is just inconsistency.

@@TheAwfulUsername Eva-Unit 00 doesn’t JUST serve the role of “wave blocker”, it’s a MIDRANGER blocker. That’s INCREDIBLY different and MUCH more valuable than the other two Uber blockers (Machine and Emma). Emma and Supercat’s ability to hold the frontlines is a joke, while Octo tends to block midrange waves only due to slow approach speed (dying quite soon to the frontline enemy doing the waves, but still able to tank hits). Cat Machine then takes the only role as a frontline wave blocker damage sponge, but the problem is, he *is* a damage sponge. That frontliner enemy doing those waves is getting all the actual hits off on Machine, not to mention peons and other supporting threats. While 00 is not capable of protecting the very front, it’s safely positioned away from the chaos of the frontlines, thereby MASSIVELY increasing its survivability and serving as an unbreakable wave wall to keep valuable units safe. The MOMENT your Octo spam or Cat Machine dies, nothing stops a big wave from IMMEDIATELY sniping your stacks or backliners or sometimes even Cyberpunk. Unit 00 is designed to make sure that as long as your meatshield game is on point, waves don’t matter. Ramiel does have inconsistencies, yes, but the main point I was making is that no other unit in the game functions like her when it comes to her role as a field nuke. As long as you can aptly protect this frail unit’s horrid standing range for a short moment of foreswing, *1,000* spaces ahead of you are blasted with an already competent explosion, which pretty much hits anything; that is a full peon clearer, with additional trapping against Ramiel’s niche of Floating with the Slow proc, and the surge is an incredible bonus that juggles or completely eats whatever’s stuck inside it. Ramiel may not always be the best surge DPS unit, but it’s undeniable that Ramiel’s field clearing power is unmatched by non-wave units. This is to compare the absolute power of units like these, and units like Reitama and Asukasli, to those of other collabs like ShouToshi. While the four (nearly identical lol) Toshi ubers are passable in their niches, they’re VERY replaceable and don’t warrant much discussion. On the contrary, having a unit that’s nearly as strong as DARK KASLI in a gacha event with LESS possible pulls and a GUARANTEED DRAW?? That’s a F2P/no tracking player’s dream! Like I said before, I judge collabs mainly on their unit collections alone, and Evangelion is undoubtedly the king here when it comes to units that define roles and provide full-game usability. …’cept for Sachiel, poor guy.

​@@TheAwfulUsername Yeah, Ramiel IS inconsistent, but he's also weirdly consistent? His super large piercing range is ridiculous, and even if his surge doesn't hit, he still mostly sweeps floating. Not to mention, his attack animation is just super cool and he's honestly just fun to use.

​@@breadman0512 tbf, I don't have ramiel yet (I'm missing most of the eva angels) so I can't really judge from experience. I believe I was comparing Ramiel to someone like Saber or Madoka while making this video since I had those 2 ubers.

One thing to add to the hatsune miku collab is the cherry miku stage dropping 2 random power ups (4 if its speed up or cat cpu) for 300 energy. This is i believe the only collab with a stage like this and is worth farming out if you are lacking in power ups (and is one of the few ways to farm treasure radars). edit: A note about merc storia collab is that it only features merc storia units in the banner (no regular rares and superrare), this is both a good and bad thing as it means you can more easily merge up units like Nono and Orthos, the bad thing is that the other non-uber units in the banner range from mediocre to labyrinth fodder.

I never knew that was a new stage in the miku collab. I know my corrections were very vague, but I feared that PONOS would take down the video if I mentioned anything specific about the new update. For the Merc Storia edit, I see your point. It just didn't occur to me that Merc Storia was the only banner to only consist of limited units.

12:27 you should mention that in the entire collab gacha banners, there are only 2 bad Ubers, rest being decent at their roles. (4th Angel and Nerv moon being the bad ones)

I think Merc Storia should be higher,as it currently features good ubers,with addition of talents boosts units like Michelia,finally I can deal with Relics with her lol

I think Fate collab unit,Dark Sakura is insanely underrated,as I can shread Multiversal Studio easily even in 3 crown on Lv 40(unless you forgot about the Doge base cannon that can shread her hp,but she still can tank lol)

Bloody good work on this whole tier list, mate. The reasoning behind placements is sound, and you’ve also defined the ranking criteria well, alongside providing ample reasoning in a section dedicated solely to this purpose, which may greatly benefit those who only wish to know the ranking without lingering through the whole video. Alongside this, the editing is quite decent! You certainly went the extra mile there, an oddity for Tier List Videos, but the end-result is superb. It’s also worth noting how you don’t overdo it, keeping it nice and simple, but no less charming. Simply put, excellent work, and kudos to you for this great addition to the BC community. One must wonder, was this posted on a whim, or are you considering further content in the same vein as this?

I do want to make battle cats content up to this quality (maybe higher) in the future but it will probably be not frequent as this took a lot of time to make. Plus, college doesn't not make my life any simpler. I will still try to post some amount of content each month tho! Although not all of them will be battle cats related.

Imo evangelion bikuriman street fighter and madoka are S, the city lost idk is kinda bad idk why you put it on top. It has not a lot of levels and the rewards (talking about the units) are aweful. The uber you get could be useful, and i can say this cause i have the manic one, but you will use them 1 or 2 times max and are outclassed. Dont get me wrong they are not bad they are just a little above average. I prefer getting a chance of getting a very good uber that i will still use even after reaching the latest zl chapter than a B+ uber

I could see bikkuriman and evangelion, but I still think SF's banners are generally bad since the most usuable one in the late game could possibly be Luke. Yea, SF gives the most rewards, but for a collab to have two banners that are quite bad brings the rankings down. Also, I tried not to generalize where players might be since collabs are open to everyone who has at least beaten EoC 1. Yes, Shoumetsu Toshi ubers do fall out of the meta in the late game, but overall, they are still pretty solid.

@@TheAwfulUsername I understand not everybody will be able to beat every stage in some of these collabs, but its the point. There some easy stage with free units and super hard for late game. For the banners, street fighters are not the best, but yes there some great pull. My point was that the Toshi collab has very avergage ubers, and some other collabs has actual top tier uber (evangelion for example) bikkuriman is for the meme and the nostalgia, but the Toshi collab happens so much and it is so underwhelming. I never used (or maby once) a unit from this collab.
