as a nogacha gamer, some little inputs -skelecat is very solid as an early game anti-zombie even without talents, allowing outbreaks to be done far easier before getting lil flying -dancer surge range is perfect for knocking an enemy into his surge for that FAT double hit, paired with him large dph making it even easier -not really a nogacha note but riceball's cheating heart combo being one of the best in the game (and pork on rice also being great) makes him a unit you'll already have in your lineup, so making him a strong meat shield for maximum combo efficiency is pretty worth the np -pastry is so genuinely awful it would've been better to simply leave him out of the video, even in nogacha he's just that awful

The dancer double hit actually is so true. Lilith true form has that same thing, but it happens much more frequently for her. It isn’t always consistent, but honestly it is SO satisfying seeing aku bear getting knocked back into the spawned surge and getting deleted. The two punch combo.

As someone who recently started no gacha as well i cant stand the hate that beefcake gets sometimes lv.30 talented beefcake has 100 less DPS than cyborg cat of the same level *but he has 202% HP* if you add strengthen it becomes 1615DPS per beefcake, and i dont care what anyone says, a minimum of 1100DPS for 900 cost at 350 range is actually really good, also our only option right after ITF (or its my skill issue)

One thing about dlazer’s cost down talent is that at lv8, it makes dlazer cost 1200, which means we can use her in restriction stages with 1200 (or) more or less (which doesn’t really do anything but it funni :))

Honestly glad that Special cats guide got remade. Used to recommend people the old video back when purchasable speacial cats didn't have talents.

One other thing that I feel holds back bondage from being good is how damn slow she is. If she had more than 5 speed, should could actually work in I'll Be Bug as an option if you don't have Roe, and that stage is awful to play without Roe or Ubers/Boost. Also I'm personally an advocate for max priority all-in atk talent and leveling boost on Dancer, but since he's difficult for inexperienced players to use I am fine with it not being there. Anyways, great video. I like how your tier rankings have names like "Silly", because quite frankly a lot of these talents are just silly lol.

I don’t play battle cats as much anymore but I can’t help but watch your videos, they’re so entertaining!

Another good note for Lolly Cat is that it is one of maybe 2 units right now that are anti-metal that can hold a Def Up Talent orb, the other being Catasaurus, so the Hp Up could be useful too.

@@markguyton2868 Of those 3 additional I listed I’d mainly consider it for Sakura and Marauder (Paladin). Poseidon works fine outside metals as a higher range rusher and can generally use his freeze to avoid damage

Thoughts: - Disappointed that Cheating Hearts wasn’t brought up in Riceball section. I get it, Uber talent, but Vigler boosts the viability of Riceball MASSIVELY if you have them. Hell, I’d say it’s better than every other special talent if you have Vigler. Still, I get it, but it would be nice to mention - Gato Surge Immune should be moved down to Valid imo. Back when it first released, it would easily be up there, but I think there’s two issues with Surge Immune now: Cactus and Soap. Both of these units are also Surge Immune stalkers that don’t cost any NP at all to get their surge immunity, and while Cactus is very expensive to get, Soap isn’t too bad and also outclasses Gato in Mining Epic and A Whole New World. Additionally, in stages where neither one works, Rock can fill in the gaps left behind by the surge a lot of the time(Jagando, Kappy, etc). It’s still pretty solid, but NP is scarce, and it’s good to stockpile it imo. - who is the cute girl at 23:37 I like her - The issue with using DLazer without Wave is that she will be competing HEAVILY with a certain *other* extremely high damage anti-Black unit(Pizza, it’s Pizza). You could bring her alongside Pizza but there’s only 10 slots, and most of the time Pizza gets the job done just fine. As for her Red usage, it’s a bit more valid, but Courier already deletes most melee reds alongside iCat and Roe, so it’s hard to justify without restrictions. If you get her wave and attack maxed out, she’s good, but as you said, VERY expensive. - Dancer max attack should be in Worthed. Yes, +40% is still quite good, but you can REALLY feel the difference between 40 and 80%. 75 NP is a bit pricey, but if you’re getting Dancer, you should be having the NP to get that anyways. Thanks for making me hate vtubers more by the day, Lucas. Also, when I first saw C.A.T got talents, I was so fucking hyped, I made my entire online personality around that guy in 2017.

Yeah riceball is also a combo unit i shouldve mentioned that Cactus is pretty hard to get and soap isnt surge immune nor is it a normal meatshield. Cactus also mainly is only good if the surger is an aku. Other than akus, bringing cactus purely for surge isnt that great of a choice Dunno the girl but she's from that one witch girl anime Dazer isnt a black/red only unit, dazer is a pure melee shredder + works in restriction. Courier doesn't work as well as Dazer when it comes to pure shreddery in damage, dazer damage is legit insane high. Nobody destroys melee enemies (especially red/black) as fast as dazer spam does. Courier still has some troubles against restriction Bore or Berserkory while Dazer insta demolishes them for 4* sol Dancer max attack isn't needed for mid game. Valid is already a very worthy place for it imo. Also C.A.T lovers unite 🤝

Very random fact about Hyper Mr. When attack is max talented and Hyper Mr is level 50 it can push back a puffington back to the enemy base without getting hit.

I spent all my NP on DLazer after ITF 3 on my JP alt and was able to beat all Hannya stages alongside A Bahamut. 10/10 would recommend.

I hadnt unlocked sushi cat for the longest time due to bad rng (i finally pulled him like a month ago) and this was before courier existed, i had no way to beat hannya so i was forced to spend a shit ton of np on bondage talents (not max but like still a lot of investment). Cant say i regret it though because getting bullet train was a huge step for me progression wise.

I was doing no gacha at some point but gave up on it so basically my dark lazer has a good amount of wave investment and lvl 10 attack and its level 40. My dancer is lvl 40 aswell and its attack up is lvl 7 so yeah around 40k dmg from dancer if i remember correctly so yeah some specials are broken

Because orbs currently don't give enough boosts to justify seriously farming for them, and Barons are a hell to farm unless Ubercarried.

I spent my np all on balrog. It was cracked out balrog carrying me to late game. Smooth criminal MJ cat is a worthy, yet horrible np investment.

This is only loosely related to the subject of the videos but you brought up the power of this unit so im taking the opportunity to say it: Can Can is my favorite cat in the game because its incredibly strong but its weaknesses still force you to strategize in order to make it work. Extremely fun to use, unlike other busted units (*cough* Courier)

Cancan absolutely does. Courier makes easy stages faster but cancan is a core unit in almost every hard stages still while courier heavily depends on the existence of red enemies
