Beware if an online deal seems too good to be true. It probably is. In this case it was. But it worked out well.

Ya the black and decker batteries are pretty cheap to start but there are many battery scams out there

I agree, recently purchased online batteries and they are Duds, my Dad's wise words haunt me; you only get what you pay for. Beware of Cheapo Knock Offs.

Thanks. Seems that anything that isn't meant to be taken apart can be fake. Many scams around. I do guitar tech jobs and had a guitar brought in with covered humbuckers which sounded awful. I changed them out for dimarzio PAF and thought I'll investigate the old pickups and they were single coil.

take the batteries from one of them and put them in the other one to have 6mA/h.

Well, it would actually be 4Ah. I thought of that, but once I had it apart and saw that I'd have to get a spot welder and spend more time than I wanted, I saw the advantage of just having two 2Ah batteries instead.

@@chuckmorrison You can cut the nickel tabs with scissors and solder on the remaining piece. The batteries must be connected in parallel. I`m also doing that, doue to the lack of a spot welder.
