100% agree!!!! Based on a good number of the comments, I think these units will need to be put through their paces with extensive field-testing. For most of the work we do, I actually think they are a viable option. Just need to get one out there in some real world scenarios to prove this to the market.

Absolutely. Maybe 6 months with you then 6 months with. That should get it a good cold and hot environment test.

Imagine going to a Tesla charger and seeing one of these getting charged up 😂

This is a good concept.......2 stage concrete Tunnel work...especially if its not going to be daily use cause the have electric pumps.... its a in between where concrete gets pumped to you and your just getting that extra push.... cause EV cement mixers arent available YET with same setup.... indoor pumping is a market for this/ or night urban area.... my opinion

Can’t even buy a gas Honda powered 4000k psi pressure washer in Ca anymore as of January 1,2024 and I actually tried to buy one today Jan 26,2024. So yes this will absolutely be enforced here. I didn’t finish the video but what’s the cost of these trailers?

Wonder if it will be like electric cars where the overall cost to run long term is cheaper vs ICE. Also with the push for greener construction, I wouldn't be surprised to see the government bring in laws requiring all sites to provide electric power for the next generation of equipment.

I’d be surprised if electric units like this become mandated in our area pretty soon here (especially with government infrastructure work).

It will actually charge off of 110/220/480 power, and can be charged while it’s pumping. I’ve never been a fan of electric versus diesel, but was pleasantly surprised with this unit. In area like ours, I’m betting 5-10 years and it’ll be forced upon us whether we like it or not. Good to see the technology improving in terms of practically.

Why would you bother with these when we have perfectly reliable desil motors now that are economcal

I would also say, with all of the emissions related BS now saddled to our modern diesel engines, they aren’t nearly as reliable or economical (downtime) as they once were. We have a tier 4 powered machine which has been down for nearly 4 months now with software/emissions related issues.

Don’t get me wrong, I’d still take a diesel over an electric any day of the week, but it’s good to see manufacturers at least putting in the R&D prior to zero-emissions becoming mandated.

Why did they bother with ICE when they had perfectly good, reliable horses.... why did we bother with radio remotes on pumps? operating from the machine worked just fine, why did we get away from good, simple, black/white hydraulic control blocks to proportional, why do we upgrade and innovate anything ever? Progress isnt for you maybe, but its coming regardless. I'm not going to be first in line by any stretch and as the guy said, these wont be for everyone, but for 99% of the line pumping we do, this would be awesome, going to take alot more of the maintenance out of our hands though which is certainly a mixed blessing to be sure.
