It's all a part of people harming people for enjoyment! This so-called way of life is a fraud and/or a scam that keeps going because next to nobody cares enough to end it for an actual reasonable way of life that everyone needed long ago! But are you too harmed to even realize this ugly truth, let alone help stop this horribleness for an actual reasonable way of life that also has to be realized?

Yeah, Trudeau's far too busy sending BILLIONS of dollars to the Ukraine war. I'm sure Biden loves that. Canadians don't. Like you, we're stuck with Trudeau for likely about 16 more months. At least you get your chance this year to be rid of Biden.

What are you referring to. What’s your context to this comment … or just on the “I hate Trudeau thing to do” that most seem to be at in their heads. Easy to bash him but most go on hear-say and not Facts. Saying same comments said millions of times before and think they are being clever. Even if there are some facts said. Hating someone’s a bit much he’s just a leader not a deity who’s suppose to be perfect. No one person is the right one to rule over everyone. It’s many people making decisions folks not one.

  • @Oddworld2024

There’s not ever going to be one person for me to make all the big decisions. And will always come down to many having to come to a conclusion that makes sense. But I suppose if one needs a representative. But You can’t agree with everything one person will ever say and do. We are all different and people forget this.we say things different see things different and live life different. There’s laws in place for safe reasons and others all of which are to better us not control.. some controlling laws must be for real reasons. It’s considered when passing laws and or changing them as we learn more about one another this will also change laws and rules and regulations. We won’t ever live in some set way of life and must find some kind of common goals for our future to thrive. Everyone’s.

Secondly, I stand FIRMLY opposed to our funding of and participation in the current Ukraine war.

  • @Curlyblonde

Trudeau called in the UN Security Special Operations Troops for help to stand against the Trucker Convoy and Canadian citizens protesting peacefully because he didn't trust his own military and police with their loyalties. They wore unmarked military uniforms and hid their identities behind reflective helmets and covered their faces with ski masks. They flew them over from France; the large unmarked military planes were parked at the North Bay Airport. People noticed their arrival and took pictures of them. The government explained their presence as being there for routine maintenance, despite no maintenance being done to any planes. The Special Forces were bussed into Ottawa to dismantle and destroy the Trucker Convoy & the Lockdown Protest. These troops were equipped with batons and rifles and given orders to use deadly force if necessary. They were brutal in their physical attacks on the protesters and independent media reporters who sympathized with the peaceful protesters. All of this ugly truth will be revealed once Trudeau leaves office and people feel freer to talk and reveal documentary evidence of how far Trudeau went against his own people to hold on to power.

I have an interesting question to ask. If at all levels of government , federal , provincial , and municipal they were able to cut the amount of politicians in half at minimum , would we notice the lack of 50% of the politicians ? How much money would we save annually . What could we do with money . Answer one question at a time in order and you will get your answer. The private sector has been doing more with less for years . Perhaps it is time our government does the same

Former commander of the Canadian Army said, in a presentation at Laval University, that what is top of mind for the U.S. and European NATO allies, is security. He goes on to say that the Liberal government has remained tone deaf to our allies concerns. How soon before the U.S. exert increase economic pressure to show their displeasure? How much patience will our Allies have for highfalutin promises of capability that will not be operational for years yet to come? How long before they demand: Show me the signed contract and proof of a hefty upfront down payment on the acquisition of a new weapon system/capability, otherwise the economic pressure will not fully ease off?

it is not just the finanacing but our overall state of preparedness to deal with the changes that will be coming in the arctic in particular, I am pretty sure that we can't even defend our own turf let alone participate in a significant manner in coming to the aid of other NATO members in their hour of need whenever that might arise. Probably we need at least 5: of GDP put to defense for the next decade to get us up to speed, the irony of having had a world class army, navy, and airforce when a loyal colony of Great Britain in the world wars and now as an independent nation we are sitting on butts doing very little to address the freight train of troubles coming toward us, is absolutely galling.

Like Harper before him, he would likely cut the over bloated bureaucracy in just about every government department. The federal public sector has been enlarged by between 30 % or 40 % since 2015 when Trudeau was first elected. There is NO reason for it BUT to build his ' voter support base' IN the 'government institutions'. 'Cuts, cuts, cuts !!! ' as Liberals call them - are NOT always bad things when the taxpayer gets some relief from the OVER taxing going on in this country, and a lot of it going to pay 'government employees'.....

This discussion is pointless. Until Canadians face an existential threat to their entitled lives they won't vote for a party that makes the required funding increases. It would require cuts to entitlements or tax increases. If the Conservatives go down this path they will lose the next election. Quebec, Ontario, the Maritimes, Winnipeg and parts of BC will not allow it.
