Thank god he never got his solo movie, given that we have way too much Batman content at this point. I generally don’t understand what’s with the praise of Batfleck. And that script that was supposedly the greatest Batman movie that could’ve been, I find that hard to believe.

If Affleck didn’t “nail everything” that Bruce Wayne is supposed to be, then Pattinson definitely didn’t “fix everything”- it’s just a question of taste, it’s subjective. Some prefer the middle aged weathered veteran who is sick of everyone’s shit. Some prefer the “young guy” so they can imagine they are the character.

​@luisquintero7359 it isn't great yeah. I still think affleck is the most comic accurate batman. He added a jaded workaholic to the character. And otherwise it's just batman whereas every other actor tried to break new ground and reinvent the character. Including Adam west. Affleck is the only live action BATMAN (not counting David mazouz or Kevin Conroy in crisis who did well although the writing was bad) to just play batman. I do think it's irresponsible for him not to get a bite with flash though unless he's scared of helping kids like he did robin, which still is dumb as he's an adult. This is batman and exploring how he would operate if he became jaded. It's just batman. Not a reinterpretation. It adds to the history of the character instead of creating a shorter history. And affleck plays him the best. Val Kilmer is the only other person besides David mazouz (and Kevin conroy although they assassinated his character in Crisis) to play the character from the comics but with added depth. I'm talking about Batman v Superman not really any of the other films including this one. Not that they're bad. But they have cringe moments. The majority are fanboys of all the other batman so no need to hate on the minoritt

As someone who is struggling with grief and depression, Batfleck's words hits me hard in the feels.

I have quite a lot of problems with this movie. But this…this right here…is my ideal version of Batman. Bruce Wayne is my all-time favorite fictional character, and I’ve always envisioned him this way: a sad, broken man trying to make the world a little less sad and lonely. A hero who knows his quest is futile, but presses on because he doesn’t know how to do anything else. A dark man who could easily be the villain if he wanted to be, but instead weaponizes that darkness against people who truly deserve it. And you know…I’ve always preferred it when he’s an older guy. RIP Batfleck, the Andrew Garfield of Batman. He’ll always be my favorite, even if the folks behind the scenes let him down time and again.

Affleck really got the melancholy of Bruce's existence right in this scene. Even with the people he cares about, like Barry, he's isolated and lonely and is aware of it. But he also knows its the only way for him to do what he does.

Sad this is the best version of affleck Bruce we’ve seen and is the last. This one scene is probably the most mature Bruce has felt on screen, from the meaning behind his words as well the acting. Basically the inverse of Pattison, who is till young, and in the time where he makes lots of mistakes as Batman and Bruce.

Wanna know what I love about this line? Even if Barry’s so chatty and way too unfocused lotta the times, Bruce is basically saying he wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s that level of legit friendship and respect he has for this fellow heroes I adore

Last time when I went to the movies with my dad, he asked me why I was crying and I told him that this is the last time I see my favorite Batman and I'm going to miss him a lot 😭💙 Thanks for everything Ben Affleck 👍

Ok so not gonna lie if Affleckwas about 20 years younger, I'd have him be thrown into the new DCU, since he was whisped away from the DCEU continuity. This was the most Bruce Wayne moment I've ever seen in ANY live action movie. The fact that we were supposed see him and Joe Mag duke it out on screen is absolutely heartbreaking.

Damn that was a subtle way of Affleck saying he’s done but maybe sometime he’ll be back.

Now this, this was closure! The realisation Bruce has accepted what destiny had in store for him, pain, tragedy burdens and all. A Batman in his endgame.

Regardless of what people may think about this film, you have to admit they wrote this scene really well, especially the last lines where Barry just wants to hang out with him.

This was a great send off to Batfleck. We will miss you man.

This is one thing I liked about the DCEU, Barry and Bruce had a good friendship. Even in real life behind the scenes, all Ezra's crazy crimes aside, Ben and Ezra both seemed to be good friends as well.👍

He was the batman I grew up with and i’m glad i grew up with him i just thought he would last longer

"Your tragedy made you a hero.." When that line comes up, I see him standing with the Justice League as he is brought to the light after all the darkness he's been through.

Bruce was Barry best friend. This was his last interaction with his best friend.

"Not this time, maybe some other time" God....I wonder how much potential with Ben's Batman was wasted. For the first time we had a guy who played both good, Batman and Bruce Wayne. He alone could put into screen the ferocity and frustration of and old and bitter Batman, but also through redemption a Batman full of faith like in ZSJL with moments of kindness like this one.

Unlike a lot of people, I actually did enjoy BvS and one of the main reasons was because of Affleck as Batman. He did great as the character. Already going to miss his version of the character, alongside Keaton's.

Everybody hated Affleck and now he's gone we all suddenly love him. DC can't win!

Ben Affleck has experienced difficulties in his life and has even been broken, falling down multiple times as a person. Seeing him in this state of Bruce Wayne made me very happy. He was a fantastic Batman with bad scenarios, Christian was a fantastic Bruce/Batman. However I still haven't warmed up to Rob Pat's version and I love watching Rob.

Batfleck is the best casting in the dceu next to Henry cavill

“Not this time, maybe another time” foreshadows how this is the last time we’ll see this iteration of Batman interact with The Flash, however in another time we’ll see another Batman interact with The Flash.

I remember watching this scene in the theatre and as someone who had recently gone through a very rough breakup, it had a profound impact on me...gonna miss Batfleck! Even in his very last scene for the DCEU, he gave me some great wisdom at the time when I needed it and quite frankly I still do almost 2 months later. Yeah I agree that Bale was great and Pattinson is doing a good job as well, but Batfleck just holds a special place in my heart like no other.
