Because no decoy is as confusing to enemies as one which is completely the wrong colour and size to what it’s cloning. And of course it would work by making the enemies stand rooted to the spot not even looking at it.

Funny how only this version of the game uses the "Batman Theme" in the intro, even though it should be using the Elliot Goldenthal version, not the Danny Elfman one

The credit theme sound like a japanese RPG !!!

So weird that in the cut scene like the movie he start with the panther suit like the 16 bits version but when you start the game he have the sonar suit like at the end of the movie !!!

Much better from 16 bit version of megadrive and snes

I will forever love the Sega Version of this game, as long as you have the 6 btn controller you good. That goes double for Desert Strike.

This is easily the best version they made of this game. The music sounds better here than in any other version….you have voices and cinematics and while the interface isn’t great on any version…this is the smoothest you’re going to get…and because Forever is my favorite Batman film of all time..I’ll always have a soft spot for this game and the arcade version! The pinball machine made by Sega for the film is epic! Great video!

man this game was really special. still feels like it could of been a bit more but its still good imo for a hard game.

I have played this game here on SNES when I was a kid, I can’t imagine there’s a PC for this port.

I like how a hologram of Batman inexplicably freezes enemies. 😂

I must admit, HUD and menu screens similar to SNES But has better sounding music than the 16-bit counterparts like that someone reads out the riddles and Robin's outfit in this version

On retro arch use shader 6xbrz on nearest at 3x and then combine it with the apperaturegrill1920x10805x overlay at around 34 overlay opacity.

the PC and Snes version has a bad movement system , some of them you have to make the movement on the D - Pad and wait a bit to press the button , others you have to do the whole movement while paused , different from the SEGA Genesis version that responds like a Street Fighter or MK , I am producing a PDF with the 3 versions , I have not shared it yet but I can advance two pages for you from MsDos facebook.com/photo/?fbid=546538204300009&set=a.360070889613409

Injustice says yes.

The idea of ​​creating a game with Mortal Kombat mechanics is a good one. But the implementation is worse, everything in the game is bad: controls, gameplay, music, graphics.

Maybe its just me but the voice overs are extremely annoying! I prefer the Snes's peace and quiet over the constant goofy voiceovers of this version. Sometimes the PC games over did it with the sound. This was a perfect example.

Man this was a disappointing game. Don't think I ever bothered playing it past the second level.

no version of this game is really worth playing

​@@mattalan6618 Not every game is for everyone. It seems to me that you may not like many retro games considering your multiple negative comments towards this game. But "IF" you like old school Mortal Kombat on Sega in which I don't think has aged very well, You would know this game has very similar move sets to it. So I'd say Sega got the best one. Not only is it akin to Mortal Kombat like having the vs mode with all the thugs and bosses being playable. But you have stages to traverse, collectables and progression. Sure there are things broken about it. However these Developers had a short amount of time to put this Movie-Tie-In game to life. I don't know many movie based game that worked well in the 90's. Games had Hardware limitations back then and still do to this day and its rare that any game will last the test of time. Every bad game is a lesson of how to do it right.

I didn't try to say anything to you to anger you nor did I state anything about you as fact. Perhaps it'll give yourself some time to think about things before writing them. I gave you reasons why the game was not that bad as part of the debate.
