Hans said he never completed the “Batman” theme because in the Nolan trilogy he was never complete. You hear it once in “The Dark Knight” but then the Joker wreaks havoc on Gotham and its never complete again. I love hearing a version where the themes combine into this awesome masterpiece, and what could have been. Great work!

I think it's amazing how various composers have paid homage to Elfman by quoting his theme. Just like the Star Wars theme by Williams, when everyone hears those Elfman notes....no matter the piece, people go, "Ah.....Batman."

Actually, the first hint of the Elfman theme is in Batman begins, when the Tumbler leaves the parking garage to drive on the roof tops and then transitions to Zimmer's pursuit chase theme. Then in dark knight there are several places you get small ques of the Elfman theme.

that is not a batman beyond soundtrack my friends, what samuels done is hes got one of the main motifs you will hear in the dark knight soundtracks and hes layered it with drums, choir all of that bish bash bosh, and then the ending is of course the 1989 batman theme. hopefully this cleared your guys search up

Elfman score was my childhood fav, Zimmer score grew to be my true fav, this is perf juxtaposition of both.

I just agree with Lucas. Zimmer scores reminds me the high adrenaline in the movie for both hero and villain but Elfmann's is true Batman theme and also the one from animated series these two are basically same tho or at least so similiar. Zimmer's is a masterpiece but Elfmann nailed it

Elfman’s theme has all the feels of what makes Batman, his mysterious, tragic, brooding, and dark nature. I like Hans Zimmer theme but I also feel like it’s embodies The Dark Knight films with its more Brutal, tough, and strong nature. How can people think the opposite? Elfman’s represent Batman way more than Zimmer.

That mix of both themes between 1:13 and 1:21 is absolutely awesome. Because those strings add more epicness, mystery and Batman's vibe to Hans Zimmer's suspense and spectacular theme

Weaving these iterations of the Bat together this way potentiates the tragic, epic, but also of Gotham itself. My mouth is agape. Thank you. This is what characters deserve.

As good as Zimmer/Newton-Howard's theme is, it's hurt by the fact that so many composers today emulate Zimmer's style. It's become so routine. Elfman's music has always been very unique, and his Batman theme stands the test of time.

Elfmans Batman theme is the most memorable and iconic, it’s aged incredibly. It can be used for really anything Batman related.

I love the opening of this. The build up to the epic suspension and that resolution. Nice. It's nice to hear a "happy" moment in a Batman theme.

I just 100% Batman Arkham knight, so I decided to play this theme, and glide and drive around the city one last time in a cinematic matter. One of my best gaming experiences ever.

This juxtaposition emphasizes to me the superiority of the Elfman score. It is an actual Leitmotif rather than moody background music.

Zimmer clearly gave up making themes years ago. It's sad he can't at least mix them in. Crimson tide is a great example
