I mean, he was right after the knightfall protocol in arkham knight

I cannot believe I never realized about this foreshadowing when I played Knight, I finished this game at least 3 times but never realized this is what actually happens in Knight, I legit thought the devs forgot about this and just came out with something new for Knight, now I realized how wrong I was...

Considering that Bats alongside the Justice league has experience or seen what hell may look like, I'm not surprised. But, believing in logic and not on "fairy tales" isn't exactly a confirmation someone is an atheist and this clip isn't saying anything either.

I think that by "fairy tales" he just means the prophecy, not Christianity/religion as a whole. I'm a theist and I would tell Azrael too to take a walk 😆

@@TheGamingArchiveHQ Tom King's run has a moment where Bruce Wayne says he used to believe in God. So it's just this author's comic in 2018, because I am sure we can find runs where Bruce even prays. For some reason Tom King has also tweeted that he doesn't read his comic book as Bruce being an atheist. Frankly, I don't know how else you could interpret it, but whatever. Anyway I still think that in Arkham Knight Batman is talking about the prophecy and that's it. It makes no sense for him to belittle Azrael's faith out of the blue like an edgy Redditor since that's not what they were talking about.

Batman isn't atheist in the Arkhamverse, though. When someone said, "Thank God," Batman replied, "You may want to hold off on thanking Him until you've answered my question." If he was an atheist, he wouldn't say that.
