My favorite figure is the Mafex black suit TDKR Batman! Such a hefty figure with amazing accessories, sculpting and great heft too! One of the best Batman figures ever

I like how Ben Afflecks Batman is inspired by the Dark Knight Returns comic. He's my favorite Batman on film

Great Video man! The Mattel Dark Knight has a special place in my heart and mcfarlane is good but it's more like Frank Miller's Dark Knight through a realistic lens. For a good representation with awesome articulation the Mafex wins hands down, but that dang DC Direct looks like it jumped out of the Book. Another good figure I own which is not truly a Miller's Dark knight but a definite homage to it is Mezco's Supreme Knight Batman, awesome look and articulation with amazing accessories.

I will say when it comes to the Mafex Figures of the Dark Knight Returns All of the mafex version Frank Miller Batman’s take the cake of the best figure for his Batman and same for Robin. But Mattel did a better Job with Frank Millers Joker than Mafex did but both are still the best of the 2 Frank Miller Joker figures.

Fyi for a DKR Joker there was also a lego minifig version done in their DC blind bag line 😀

I may be a little off topic but I am happy to see a big spiderman fan but just a little bit of a smaller fan than me love you’re vids keep up the good work/ could you please do more spider man work

Great video! Regarding scale, MAFEX (and most imports) are smaller because they follow a more accurate 1:12/six-inch scale, while domestic figures tend to skew a little larger. McFarlane’s DC Multiverse is also a 7-inch line, hence why they tower over the others.

The DCUC figures also are too tall. To get the larger build they used the MOTUC buck, which... well, Mattel always sold it as a 6" line but everyone considers it a 7" one. They tower over actual 6" figures like DCUC or ML and fit much better with 7" lines. So a Batman built on that body is going to be WILDLY out of scale with the rest of your DCUC collection while probably being a smidge too small for your McFarlane shelf. That's why I've never been interested in that figure; it won't fit with any of my existing DC characters, and I'm not a big enough DKR fan to have a whole separate shelf dedicated to it.

I wish DC Direct had gotten a chance to revisit the DKR line and redo the figs the same way but with better articulation before they closed!

Well the mafex is true 1/12th scale its not going to be as tall as the other figures its scaling with its own line

When you do the legacy of the DCEU figures, I have noticed that Ben Affleck Batman is the inspiration from Frank Miller's version. All ideas: - TMNT figures - Into the Spider-Verse figures - No Way Home 3 pack Marvel Legends - Kang the Conqueror figures - DCEU/Snyderverse figures - Flash figures New idea: - Joker figures (like how you did Green Goblin)
