My collection focuses on Marvel Legends and DC superhero action figures from the 1960 to the present, along with all things Star Wars including Lego, Black Series and Hot Toys. Sprinkle in some great 1970's lines like Mego, Buck Rogers and Black Hole and top it all off with 80's goodness from GI Joe to MASK to Transformers to Starcom! Let's Play!

ITSV was such an impact on my love for spiderman because it let my imagination run wild of the different universes there could be and how could make my own spiderman and it really brought me joy
The Kickstarter Spawn was a digital remaster of Spawn 1 in a 7 inch scale. The "M" on Spawn's chest/torso is to represent Malebolgia, ruler of the 9th plain of Hell who made the deal with Al Simmons. Redeemer, originally named Anti-Spawn was originally Jason Wynn, AL Simmons former boss and was selected by Heaven as Spawns antithesis. Gunslinger Spawn debuted in Spawn issue 174 as Spawn from another era. His figure from Spawn series The Art Of Spawn (series 27 from 2005) is a masterpiece compared to the new crappy figure recently released. If you haven't seen the original check it out. Raven Spawn was from the artwork from one of the covers of Hellspawn. Big chunky medieval spawn is Spawn the Black Knight from Spawn The Dark Ages series 12. One of my favorites. The figure wrapped in the chains is Shadows of Spawn from the Japanese Manga of the same name. Debut of that version of Spawn. The next Medieval Spawn is Medieval Spawn III from Spawn series 20. The Art of Spawn. That sculpt is ripped right from the pages of the Spawn Bible by Greg Capullo. Medieval Spawn II in my opinion is leagues above all others. Particularly the R3 variant.

fyi there is a small wasp figure in the proper costume. was included in two pack with dr doom and spiderman secret wars 3 1/2" figures

Thanks for sharing your trip to Japan! It’s always an adventure there. I always try to visit with an empty suitcase lol. If you ever go back, definitely check out the action figure scene in Osaka. There’s also a Gundam museum located in Odaiba where you can see a huge Unicorn Gundam statue! One visit is never enough!

(Btw a way you can fix the pegs on your spider-man mafex figures is by replacing the joints on your mafex figures with the bootleg versions joints that way it shouldn’t cost much and the joints are actually pretty sturdy on those bootlegs!) (also use a heat gun or boiling hot water to take the joints out to swap them And pliers might be the best way to go when getting those things out. P.s just wanted to see if this might fix your problem ,Xiao!

oh man it’s so awesome to find the figure you want in stores. it’s absolutely impossible to find marvel legends in the us now so the only time i’ve felt the joy you feel going to a mandarake was when I heard the zabu wave was available at macys and i got the cable

You were very lucky man, my days in Japan were very limited so I didn't really go out of the Chiba area. But even though I didn't get a whole lot, I was satisfied with what I got. They did an SHF of Akira Yamamoto as well and those are the only two to get the SHF treatment.

Agree - I’m not either - just a couple of specific things (I was telling our guide that is was looking for Yamato stuff and she was like - that’s what my Dad watches!) but everything is so incredible it is just overwhelming!!!

Happy that you enjoyed your Japan Trip. I just came back on April and when I went to Nakano Broadway, there was a store called the Monster Graveyard which has a theme every month and sell all sorts of merchandise like t-shirts, and acrylic stands. When I went there in late April, they were doing Gatchaman and they even sold a plastic version of their transformation watch which cost about 9900 yen. I also have that Sh Figuarts Mori Yuki and the other figure in the line is Yamamoto Akira which in the original version is a guy but Akira is so pretty and hot I don't mind the change. I think it is this new art style and the new voice cast that I actually like the Space Battleship Yamato 2199 series more although some purists might said it ruin the classic. But to be honest, the original series was a little hard to get through and the new version improved some things that the old one didn't. There is also an Armor Girl project toyline which has Yuki in a battle armor that resembles the Yamato and it is very cute and awesome at the same time.

It was everything I had hoped it would be. I did my homework in advance to make the most of my “toy time” but it was everything else in Japan that was so great!
You know that you can buy replacement wrist joints for your mafex Spider-Man right?

As you can imagine, there was tons of Godzilla merch. It didn’t make the video, but I saw this incredible vintage Mothra tin figure - so good!
What's the best way to get your toy pickups though custom? Maybe it will be beter to mail it home?
I kept it simple - most went in my suitcase and the most expensive/valuable/fragile stuff I had in bubble wrap in my backpack - that is what got me stopped at customs!
@@CarbonScoring Thanks for answering. I've often heard stories of a G1 Megatron toy that confiscated at customs. Perhaps it's just a urban legend, but it sounds like it could be true😜

Whoa!! Great video. Someone needs to pick up the Starblazers license and produce new action figures and vehicles. Seems like a no brainer.
Agreed! It's such an underappreciated show that had a lot of influence on sci-fi. From Star Wars, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica. Now that we're getting a new cartoon channel(ME T.V. TOONS) maybe we can petition them to add Starblazers to their lineup. They already have Speed Racer, Marine boy & possibly others.

Especially with the 50th Anniversary this year! There are always new ships being made, but no one has jumped on action figures!!!

@@CarbonScoring Thanks, for me Starblazers was the frist t.v. series that I got emotionally invested in( I was 7 or 8 at time) and yes I cried when captain avatar died & the comet empire was finally defeated after so many crewmembers of the Argo gave their lives to save Earth😭 The animation looks dated, but the storylines & voice acting still hold up. If it was shown on t.v. again I think it will gain a new respect from sci-fi fans.
