You would think, but in actuality, Batman would despise John. as he operates on a polar opposite philosophy to Batman. Batman Refuses to kill even the most deadly villains regardless of damage or body count. John Wick leaves no survivors. If you have him as an enemy… odds are you’re already dead.

@@sycho-tech5104 Yeah, both Batman and John are similar, as in they're both men who strike fear into the most blackened criminals, but their approaches to cleaning up the "filth of the world" or taking justice and/or vengeance into their own hands are completely different. Batman injures but refuses to kill his enemies, while Wick would immediately shoot to kill every scumbag in sight. John would practically be like Red Hood if he was WAY more ruthless and deadly.

@@gorrium5027 In the comics Batman has mastered over 127 martial arts, whereas John Wick uses mostly 3 martial arts (Japanese Jujitsu, Brazilian Jujitsu and Judo). Batman also has mastered loads of other things like detective work, using guns, bladed weapons, driving, stealth - the list is endless. If you're specifically talking about Christopher Nolans Batman then I could agree (but would still say Batman has the edge). But actual (comics) Batman? John Wick is just a slightly better than usual henchman for him

@@ashtonlewis9624 Most martial arts have a lot of overlap, you don't need to master all 127 arts you just need the master 3-5 styles to know 90% of what you can possibly do. John also knows gun Fu a fighting style which Batman doesn't know. What I meant when I said realistically was if both characters were inside the same shared universe then Bruce likely would have trained with the high table for about 5 years before becoming Batman while John spent his entire life under the high table and has been training and practicing up until his retirement. Bruce is likely more skilled than John, but the skill gap isn't that big and John has decades more experience than Bruce. (Side note: while I disagree with the time scale, the first three John wick films either took place in the span of a week and a half or three weeks, during the time John killed around 222 skilled assassins. John is not equivalent to a hired goon in the Batman comics, he is more equivalent to Ra's al Ghul or Deathstroke. Which while they have been often defeated by Bruce there have been multiple times through a comic history where they have bested Bruce in combat.) If John is even remotely armed this fight will be fairly even, I could see it going either way. Then again I could be biased, I don't like the Bat God interpretation of BM and don't think it really holds merit. Also, I guess Batman could fire an orbital strike of sleeping gas from his $300 trillion satellite around alpha centauri and the fight will be over quickly. Sorry I got a little bitter there at the end, it's not because of you.

You do realize that the whole 2nd, 3rd and 4th movies were about Wick not wanting to be a criminal assassin any more? If he truly is on the path to good, there's no better character to give a GL ring to. He's smart, skilled in combat, an improvisational genius, and as mentioned a man of sheer f**king will. He'd be the perfect GL, hell he might even be able to solo Darkseid as GL.

Quite true as his name alone strike fear to every criminal. My guess if his name is mentioned to major crime bosses in both DC and Marvel they would probably hire more guards to protect them. Plus with a Sinestro Corp. ring he can just make guns with infinite ammo to mow down all his enemies. Just imagine High Table send their elite task team to take down John only for them to get killed without harming John due to the Ring's protection.

Also you are correct of John able to use Green, Yellow, and Red Lantern ring, but I think the Yellow Lantern ring would fit him the most plus the whole his name strike fear would kind of disqualify him on getting a Green Lantern ring.

His first actions were motivated by rage but soon after that he felt empty, and all that came after that was him only dealing with the consequences of his own actions while still trying to survive because he couldn't die, otherwise his death would be a signal to kill all of his previous allies. For me, John Wick is quite compassionate and intense, but that doesn't qualify him for the red ring, since he's not fulfilled by rage. He has his moments, but most of the time he's placid and just doing things for the sake of the necessity. ... He has a lot of Green Lantern traits if we ignore most of his rampants. The yellow ring could be a possibility but it's not a ring only for those who strike fear upon others, but for those who embrace their own fears. John Wick doesn't show off any kind of fear. ... If we must categorise as a Lantern guy with the previous rings and corps, he is more suited for the Green Lanterns, whoever he'd need to get out of that whole previous life that he had and focus on dismantling his internal turmoil. If we get crazier, we could give him his own ring, a grey one or one with earthly tones, to represent his coolness, willpower and stoic nature, tempered with peaks of intensity/adrenaline. He could be a member of a specific troop, one whose focus relies on honour or a sense of duty. It is abstract and already overlaps some traits from other colours, but despite the dichotomy of Green X Yellow, I can't personally see him completely aligned with any ring colour. Black could be a possibility, but yet, we would have to think more abstractly.

That was a nice touch; giving consideration to the connection between John Wick's will and what if he got a Green lantern ring; a formidable force indeed. We know that Batman's suit can resist most firearms, so perhaps this will ultimately come down to hand to hand combat... definitely something interesting to think about

Don't forget about the Disruptor from Arkham knight. just shoot his guns and deactivate them before starting a fight with him as well as using smoke bombs, flash grenades and batarangs. Easy victory

Exactly. Have your 100 goons all attack him from a distance with guns that only have one bullet each. This ends John's infinite ammo streak. Also build a fight chamber with military lasers 30 feet off the ground in each corner of the room. Even if he removes one of the lasers, it needs to be plugged in to work. Or make a fight chamber with sealed doors and a colorless odorless gas that kills you. Send in a gymnast who looks like he can fight, to distract John while the room fills with poison. A REAL contingency plan would be to set up conditions where a supervillain makes these fight chambers and lures John in.

Batman's concerns about what would happen if John Wick were to get ahold of a Green Lantern Ring is warranted. When Viggo Tarasov first goes into exposition about Wick, he heavily emphasized the assassin's traits, including his willpower. Willpower is what drives the Green Lantern Corps' rings. Combine that with John Wick's ability to improvise under pressure, and NO ONE would be safe.

I'd like to know what Batman's plans are to neutralize someone who routinely endangers many innocent children: Ms. Frizzle and her diabolical Magic School Bus.

In a prolonged fight, Wick might be able to pull it off. Thankfully his bulletproof suit won't come into play against Batman since Bats doesn't use guns. Batman needs to use stealth to get the true win, because Wick is a vicious fighter. Wick goes through trained adversaries who have high tech armor and gear and still kills them and all their buddies. Batman's batsuit won't be far behind in protection, but will it matter? No, Batman has to take Wick by surprise. That's his only choice, his only chance.

Deathstroke is skilled with practically anything you give him, one of the most strategic enemies batmans fought, and is superhuman with reflexes that allow him to fight kid flash yet batman has done good in his fights against him Deadshot is so accurate that he is considered a low level meta just because of it, their fights constantly prove batman can dodge a bullet or several even from him Wick is only winning this if he gets a power up or batman is in his early years

@@DarthFedora Wick is going through the guys armed with guns in armored suits in Chapter 4, and he just pushes through them. I know the Batsuit is nothing to sneeze at, but it's not totally bulletproof like some of the plating is on those things. Wick has experience ending guys in armor, and Batman has that opening in his face mask.

@@Supperdude9 deadshot and deathstroke have never hit that spot, and all 3 are at least equal in accuracy, you're also forgetting the plethora of gadgets batman has Bane is both one of batmans strongest and smartest villains, famously beat batman and broke his back however there is more to it Bane came to gotham with the intention of challenging batman, he manipulated things to ensure all villains broke out of arkham resulting in batman having to fight nonstop the whole day Only with batman exhausted did Bane finally reveal himself, a completely new villain to an exhausted early batman, what chance does wick have if Bane had to resort to that with a young batman It doesn't matter how many armored guys wick has fought, all of them would've been beaten by batman as well
