@@Kakarot64. I’d still say Alfred. Unlike Batman and the rest of the Bat Family, Alfred has no morale issues when it comes to killing. He’s also died, and gotten better. And he beat the hell out of Superman. Also, this doesn’t really count in his favor, I just think it’s awesome, Alfred had a one night stand with Queen Elizabeth.

Another "weakness" Ainz possesses if thats the correct term, is his absolute friendship with his guildmates who left the game. He still holds them dear and is one of his remaining ties to humanity. If Batman could locate Ainz' original dimension & locate these friends, they may be convinced to meet Ainz & convince him to tone down his destructive ways; its not a game anymore but real. He needs to realize this and protect his beloved Nazarck, not conquer the world the world in their name. He is just lonely.

When Batman said they would pressure Ainz into going along with the plan Batman created, thinking it’s Ainz’s plan, I nearly lost it. This is PEAK!

Except, realistically, Ainz would, soon enough, realise what Batman was planning and have a contingency prepared for anything Bruce may try to use and alert his citizens to the threat before it's too late. Behind that strategic mind is someone who has experience with rigged circumstances. Batman's plan does have merit but it also has its downsides.

@@antonitocotter447 I think what you're saying is assuming that Ainz is as remotely brilliant as his guardians believe him to be. In reality, he's only smart by the standards of a good video game player. A lot of the stuff he "plans out" either wasn't his plan, worked because it related to his game knowledge somehow, or was just pure luck. So in a game of wits with the Batman (a true genius character) I don't see how Ainz would realize the plan before it was too late. An actual genius would but Ainz is a fake genius. That's the whole point. Not to mention, he rarely backs down once his subs start pressuring him and the whole point of the plan is that they would pressure him into going into whatever situation batman had created.

@@natman2939 This issue with it is Ainz's caution. Ainz brings contingencies on contingencies or brings to the table something that is so absolutely overkill that its just bullying the weak at the end of the day. Pressuring him into a position where he would be vulnerable is hard when his entire focus is his own survival. Ainz fears his own subordinates discovering he is not as smart as he seems, that's why he just plays along with them, because when its all said and done without the unique gear the Tomb Guardians could body him if they worked together. And that's the real thing Batman should be afraid of. It's not Ainz, Ainz can be negotiated with, the Tomb Guardians on the other hand, deprived of Ainz's guiding hand, with his plethora of world altering items, and nothing but bitter hatred for the world that deprived them of their Lord.. well.. entire worlds would blink out of existence as they enact actual plans to get revenge. Because they aren't stupid, they are young, and Ainz was taking steps from the start to make them independent. Best case scenario would actually be to isolate them in space. Let them believe it is the only world to rule, and it will be the only world that is marred, and so long as Ainz is around humanity won't be driven to extinction.

Ironically, depending on EXACTLY how he carries out the plan, this could be a Batman Gambit, where one party uses their knowledge of the other to anticipate and respond to their moves before they make them, or allowing them to make them, as needed to guide them to an eventual defeat.

Like the comments are saying, Batman will need some teleportation nullifying spells. Ainz would have plenty of reason to flee if he knew the battle was rigged from the start. Plus, he would need some tech or magical items to drain Ainz of his MP. No MP means no spells (assuming that’s the power system used). As for new contingency plans, I would like to see one for Father (Codename: Kids Next Door), Dio Brando, or Roxas.

Heres the thing, Ainz doesn’t need MP if you get down to it, he has skills that don’t require MP many of which could 1 shot near anything in DC that the bat could bring to the fight, and IF they have protections from such an attack he has a skill to nullify that. THEN should any of said skills needs a cast time he has the deus ex machina that is his vast array of cash shop items, like the one to skip cast times Assuming anything could survive cry of the banshee+goal of all life is death… there’s always the good ole “fallen down”+cash shop item to instant cast

@@tjl102first, ya i brought up his cash shop items, second, he cant buy more, that was a system in the game, he was just such a massive whale in the game before being transferred to the new world that he probably had as much as he possibly culd for everything since he was not shy about dropping all his available funds on that game which you can see why given the dystopia he lived in that the anime skips over entirely. Like dropping an entire bonus to win "wish upon a star" allowing him to alter reality 2 more times, 3 more times if it didnt count that failed attempt to save shaltear

Batman would definitely need the best magic users in the DC universe like Dr. Fate, Zatanna, and John Constantine, Raven, and several more. With them and Batman’s amazing strategies would be a guaranteed victory. Ainz Ooal Gown is powerful but once you know who the man is behind the skull it will be his end. He’s basically a regular guy in the body of a weapon of mass destruction.

​@AFPLJohnny don't be simple minded. Every video game character "Thinks" they are in a real world until someone unplugs the console! So you can't say definitively that the strategy wouldn't work and it would be simple enough to try without any risk.

From what I remember, Ainz does not have the ability to just summon world items out of thin air, he has to be equipped with them and he usually keeps them in the vault. Pretty sure Batman knows Ainz can teleport, it would be stupid if he did not, he would have things in place that would keep Ainz from running away. After that its just a matter of the fight and if Ainz suspected anything. We also do not know what magical contingencies Batman would be equipped with and Ainz sure as hell would have no idea, Batman can look up anything in the game Ainz has access to by either purchasing the game server data and studying it or just hacking the company/game to learn of it. Batman could also hack the guild info from the servers to learn what world items Ainz's guild possessed, what the skills of the guardians are and their abilities. Batman would have all the advantages as Ainz is bound by the games spells/artifacts which Batman would study while Ainz would have no idea what Batman has up his sleeves as his magical countermeasures are outside the game Ainz knows.

So even with this plan there’s no real guarantee of victory. Not to mention he could just teleport out of the trap.

Just because they have different cosmology doesn't mean the skills or items can't do anything in dc. Otherwise we would have to say that ainz is in a dimension or something similar that would never be able to interact with dc. And if that was the case then there is no point for the fight because there isn't a way ainz could become a threat for Batman to need a contingency

you make a good point, But I think it'd be better to explain how well Ainz teleportation and magic are. Are they capable of teleporting to different realms, is his "instant death" killed beings that are capable of tanking universal busting levels of power? After all the suit that batman mentions is capable of going toe to toe with the Justice League if I'm correct, but also drains Batman's life energy like the Nintendo switch. I don't know too much about either one I have to admit, so this is kinda guess work.

The main reason Batman came up with these contingencies is because Superman himself can be manipulated or controlled. He has to assume that a diplomatic solution does not exist because some other factor is preventing the person in question from having the free will to decide their actions. If a diplomatic solution to mind control exists, that will be the first thing he does, or if there is no mind control but the person thinks fighting is the only course of action open to them, then diplomacy is the best choice.

@@VainerCactus0 You forget that Ainz best tricks are the manipulation of time and memory. He doesn't lose this fight and wins every time if Batman convinces him to be a bro, a pal, a super friend.

This plan revolves around tricking Aniz into an unplanned pvp. That won't work. The moment he discoverers such a situation he'll teleport away or create an opening to run. Aniz is an experienced pvp player and will not enter pvp situation unless chances of victory are high. He'll expect all information given to him to be false which is why he uses doppelganger's like Pandora's actor to engage the possible threats from afar. This was seen when Pandora's actor engaged Platinum Dragon lord in combat. Ainz studied the battle and started formulating strategies against Platinum Dragon Lord. Aniz isn't without honor as any worthy opponent makes a request he'll honor to the best of his abilities. As seen with Ganzief where after losing to Aniz Ganzief requested he not be resurrected and his weapons and armor returned to the Kingb of Re-Estise.

The funny thing is: It requires batman to be able to get inside Nazarick in the first place without dying. Making sure a message or fake info gets to someone is hard if you know nothing about the messenger. Bats can scare thugs to do his bidding because: Their human & afraid of him. Bats has no idea if any minion he uses is actually capable of getting ainz's ear, unless physical studies their mannerism...which mean entering into ainz territory to start with which mean: ainz is gonna know he's lurking around.

@@nighthero7 Batman could get in through one of the homunculus maids that has a high positive karma or one of the members of the eight fingers crime syndicate. Getting out is the real trick. None of the workers who got in left with most locked away as resources for the ncps. The ones who didn't get captured are aimlessly wondering the tomb looking for a way out. In theory if they found the staircases linking each floor they could escape but teleportation traps have thus far prevented that.

Subordinates pressuring the mc could also work for Rimuru Tempest as well; don't know how that could be used to trap him, but once his subordinates speak on his behalf, he will compile to meet their expectations

You might have falling for Ainz trap yourself. He see 100 steps a head and you might not be fight Ainz but, Pandora's Actor. As for the World Items some of there power are still unknown and you would have to deal with all of the guardian and servants Nazarick. Best option to deal with Ainz is to simply talk to to him and make him your friend.

As others have pointed out, this will be difficult. Ainz is a master strategist when it comes to PVP and was even able to edge out a victory against Shalltear, an NPC optimized for PVP combat. His vast assortment of spells and skills allow him to crush hearts, stop time, fly, manipulate gravity, and can cause instant death by various means. His trump card, The Goal of All Life is Death, is unblockable and unsurvivable. In fact, it can negate any and all instant death resistance one may have, if memory serves correctly. Only a resurrection item can save the victim. Plus, Ainz can protect himself from the effects of holy magic by various methods. Batman has met his match.

@@user-so6ps4pb6y From some quick research, the skill amplifies the effect of instant death magic to the point where not even any immunities or resistances can, well, resist it. By combining it with Widen Magic, Cry of the Banshee, he can insta kill anything within 100 meters. Shalltear only survived due to a resurrection item.

@@user-so6ps4pb6y Ainz did in fact speak everything out loud in his battle with Shalltear. I guess that means it needs verbal command. But I'm not 100% sure. Bruce could teleport away in case of an emergency, but there is a world item that can seal an area off. Of course, Ainz has access to such an item. This item leaves a way to escape. You escape, you get the item. However, Ainz, being the master strategist he is, would account for those variables and have that exit guarded. Its called Depiction of Nature and Society. Based on my research, various types of terrain and biomes can be chosen. For instance, make the space affected a lava field for instance. Bruce will not have an easy time, regardless of his preparations. Whether his teleport could get out of the area in question, again I'm not 100% sure, but considering its a world item, the most powerful type of item there is, it might prove impossible.

@Fact-fiend_1000ASMR. The world item may not work because of it sealing the magic that allows for teleportation. Technology may be exempt since nothing in the kingdom is THAT advanced. If it does work on technology, it might still not work, Bruce's teleportaion can feasibly have too much power to nullify, Think trying to save a burning building by putting a firefighter's jacket inside. Speaking of teleportation, though, I had a thought.... Wouldn't most of Ainz's advantages be negated with teleportation? His time slow is out the window as he can get away from the effect, His heart burst doesn't get a grip. He's notoriously bad at close range, And when Bruce teleports to him he could steal his rings (given that he sneaked away from Superman it's plausible) put a device on him that would teleport him straight to the sun or a room filled with holy energy for less lethality. Or just use the rings to make the life of Ainz a living heck. On the subject of Ainz being a master strategist, He can't rely on ot much as he comes short, His mind has not been perfected by actual masters of the craft, So chances are Bruce could outthink and outmenuver anything Ainz might do or plan in advance.

The true strategists & tacticians are Albedo & Demiurge, Ainz consistently confirms this in the LN, manga, & anime. Got to remember that Ainz was a middle class white collar worker in his original human world, with no professional training in strategic or tactical warfare. He depends heavily on the advice from Albedo & Demiurge, as well as their worship of him as the last Supreme Being. That being said, Ainz is not just relying totally on them, he is reasonably intelligent & is well aware of many of his shortcomings, making an effort to deal with his weaknesses. both real and perceived.

Batman I must warn you about relying on the sasuga Ainz sama methods. While I do agree it is the best method to trick him, he posses a deceptively keen mind for these kinds of traps. He never, at any point, considers his powers absolute. In fact this kind of entrapment is his preferred form of hunting. He is acutely aware of his weaknesses and will be ready for them. In his confrontation with Shaltear Bloodfallen he reveals that he is wearing an outfit besides his normal suit that gives him near immunity to the holy element and even played along with the weakness to fool her. You will need a powerful item to prevent teleporation as well, as it is known his higher teir teleportation spells bypass the dimensional locks some of his own subordinates employ. And all this preparation may only trap Pandora's Actor, whom he regularly sends to take his place in such dangerous environments. I am not saying your goals are impossible, far from it, but require more refining. Especially considering how this individual will not hesitate to order the destruction of your whole city should he discover your plan. He mentioned his weakness to bludgeoning, and also mentioned the 10th teir spell that imitates a nuclear blast does bludgeoning and fire, another element he is weak too. He cannot protect from all three at once, so I would recommend some explosive equipment. It does not need to be nuclear in nature, but in all honesty it would not hurt to have one ready.

Ainz has high resistance to Holly magic I don't think Batmans strategy will be as effective as he thinks.

Funnily enough, his hellbat suit would probably be more equivalent to the gundam suit albedo fought against.. unbelievably powerful, by human standards, god-like infact.. but against the denizens of nazarik.. who outclass even the gods of the new world by several orders of magnitude.. it is nothing.. and then there is ainz himself.. a top tier pvp player that outclasses others on what essentially is a suboptimal roleplaying build.. The most effective partition of this plan is the one regarding his subordinates. And ainz would probably reach out with an invitation to join him on that merit alone.

I sort of think Bats and Ainz would be bros. Bat: "I've spent hundreds of hours and millions of dollars determining you weaknesses and coming up with strategies against you" Ainz: "for the past weeks I've been using spells, counter spells, spies, mind control and intuition to determine how to best combat your strategies" Mare Aura and Robin: "While you guys finish checkers, can we go play with the dragons?"

Anything that could beat him is moot in that if anything COULD beat him, he has a ring that has a few charges to make it simply not be

I love it that Batman in this basically says, And even with all these holy relics weakening him I need to out pace him in what will be the greatest game of cat and mouse or i die.

in order to get more advantage, i'll aquire information on iggdrasyl mechanins thanks to doctor strange assistance, and recreate a guild weapon directly made with th epurpose to interfere with the aspect of control and loyalty of other npcs, as to turn all of them against him the moment my trap takes place. then, with devices to stops teleportation he will be between two threats, his own comrades and me.

Next contingency plan should be about Yu-Gi-Oh and the power of the shadow realm. Also, what duel monsters cards would Batman use?

A deck heavy on trap cards and effects, (maybe with dark type warriors,) that's scary enough to throw off his opponents' game.

Failure results from Ainz seeing ahead that it is a trap, and he then turns it against the trapper.

The plan to use the floor guardians would be slim to none WHY? Look back where Emperor Jircniv visits the tomb of Nazarik and when they were going back to the empire, their conversation talks about how they would use Ainz's subordinates against him OF WHICH DEMIURGE ALREADY KNOWS ABOUT and they were discussing it in the throne room so yeah that plan won't work. Only if you have world class items like CASTLE OF DOWNFALL AND COUNTRY yes that would work otherwise no.

Jircniv planned to shift the Guardians' loyalty to him and didn't know what Ainz truly was. Batman is aware of Ainz's origins and plans to use that against him.

Gotta say...there is a flaw with this one. This is made with the assumption he will just accept credit instead of questioning it. During the Invasion Arc of Reastesthe plan goes astray because of a greedy moronic noble. The rest of the Guardians think this is something Ainz accounted for and begin to make preparations for "Enacting his will" until Ainz asks Demiurge if the plan TRULY failed. Demiurge then thinks the plan can be altered even further as if Ainz has planned for the problem and the solution they would offer and had arranged one better. The problem with this contingency is that it is under the assumption that Ainz will be predictable. Ainz is mentally unstable. While he MENTALLY has morales and desires of his Mortal Life, his BODY removes his limitations and there are times when his own thoughts and actions "scare" him. He is nearly as unpredictable as someone like the Joker who is mad.

Contingency plan for Kazuya Mishima

Albedo and Demiurge are too intelligent for such manipulations and all the Floor Guardians, along with numerous other NPC's within Nazarick, can use the spell [Message] to communicate directly with Ainz at any time. Also, there is no way to trap Ainz. If such artifacts were at the level of a World-Item, Ainz's possession of one on his person renders the effects of any other World-Item, World-Item level ability, or object on the level of a World-Item, completely ineffective. It's why Cure-Elim's breath attack, which has the same effect as the World-Item [Longinus], that is the ability to completely erase the target(s) from existence, was useless against Ainz. Coupled with the spell [Perfect Unknowable], it renders Ainz completely undetectable even with super-human senses and magical detection. It even blocks any sound he makes, so even if he's giving a full monologue, no one would hear him. Ainz also has a ring that self-resurrects him upon death at no cost. This obviously works in Ainz's favor as one of his main PVP tactics was allowing his opponent to best him in the 1st round while keeping most of his own abilities secret in order to discern everything his opponent could do in order to strategize around them in subsequent matches. The only one whom Ainz could never win against was Touch Me in a 1v1. Ainz has so many abilities, resources and items that the best plan would be to avoid him completely. Simply don't antagonize Ainz and he's most likely to leave you alone.

Even if that is the case, what is ainz gonna do if Batman shows up with the Justice Buster suit? The same suit that soloed the entire justice league by itself, including Superman who can move through time and in stopped time casually. Honestly it's a wash if this is comics Batman with prep

@@-Extra_Lives It is an argument that entirely requires prep and items that may or may not even be canon, given the sheer number of elseworlds stories and writers who are never on the same page. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of iterations of Batman. The JB-Suit also isn't indicated to operate in stopped time nor move through time. Figures like Flash and Superman HAVE to accelerate themselves to reach those points and they do not operate on that level of speed as a standard. Ainz also has several Time Magic spells. One freezes an individual in stopped time, [Time Stop] freezes everything in time, and [Delay Magic] delays the activation of spells, which Ainz uses in conjunction with [Time Stop] so that the same instant time resumes, any spell he cast with the Delayed effect will activate that same instant. It's what he did to Gazef Stronoff. Also, Ainz has a far more dangerous trump card that could kill the entire Justice League if used effectively.

Ainz is actually on the lower end of Itsekei powerscales funny enough. Its just the anime makes him look super strong. Throw Aqua from konosuba against him and he gets one shot (She threatened to do as such in Itsekei Quartette and Ainz knew he was screwed til Kazuma saved him.). But if you wanna stay in DC, The Flash can outrun anything he can do and just punch him into oblivion. Yes, the Flash can outrun Death and Time, so.... rip Ainz. If Batman himself needs to fight him, Ainz's strongest spell is outdone by a tact nuke in power and he can barely take his own strongest spell with all of his defenses up, so yeah, easy win if you don't mind using that. Volgen from MGS3 can take out Ainz if he gets the jump on him which is kinda sad. What makes Ainz scary is his spell versatility and ability to oneshot you in close to medium range due to his game's mechanics. But stay at far range and there isn't much he can do. If you want to capture him instead of take him out. Then... uh good luck.

Sorry, but I don't buy this. First, Batman would never be able to learn the intimate personal details of Momonga's life or personality. Having him know EVERYTHING from the start here just isn't possible. Second, Momonga's Luck Stat is way too high, so nothing Batman would attempt would go as he planned, and would backfire on him and anyone helping him. And third, don't think I didn't notice just how vague and round-a-bout the descriptions of 'I would plan for that', or 'I would adjust to compensate' without actually telling HOW. Batman does specifics. The fact that you couldn't think of how to, beyond 'get holy', shows that Batman is FUBAR.

Lord Ainz's greatest weakness is if his loyal underlings could somehow be made not so loyal, by real, non mind control means.
