@@WelshPolitoProject I would disagree. Sokka manages to get out of hairy situations through quick (albeit destructive) thinking and employing the talents of his team. During the airship arc, dude was a fucking engine of destruction that pretty much took out the entire Fire Nation air fleet in one go! He wins because he's smart, deadly, cold blooded when he has to be, and is generally a pretty good all around ass whupper, NOT because the director says that he gets to win.

Nice one. One thing I'm surprised he didn't mention? It seems that every bender always needs to move limbs to bend. Disabling them would be useful. Also? If you think about it, Sokka is the Batman of Team Avatar. In the sense that he's the one without powers, yet is also the brains of the group to make up for it.

Almost every bender. Exceptional ones like Bumi or Sparky Boom guy barely needed to move to bend. But yes, they are the exception, rather than the rule.

@@Stormraider821 And Ming-Hua, a lady without arms. She uses bent water for her arms. Still, Batman would consider every possibility, like Aang being able to bend while restrained. It seems that the movements just aid in the bending while more advanced benders could bend without the movements. Batman had spoken his contingency plan to protect his circulatory system despite knowing that it is not in Aang's character to bloodbend.

​@omnitrix1279 Airbenders can use their breath and lungs to "Help" in some way.. like how Aang can sneeze 15 feet in the air... But Benders would actually be a challenge to Batman because Katara knows how to blood bend... And that she basically is controlling batman like a Puppet...

Luring Aang into a vacuumed arena in which oxygen masks are required would be able to deprive him of much of his airbending abilities.

Now this is BTAS Batman. One that will attempt to talk down. He's right - Aang is looking for peace, and might not use such drastic measures as blood bending, but... contingencies. Just in case.

If you never heard these Airbending techniques, obviously they are considered too violent and deadly; against the Air Nomad beliefs. And Flight is hard to master because one must remove absolutely all emotional and earthly attachments. Even Aang know about these abilities, he wouldn’t use them; least not when he is in control.

Batman would also have knowledge of Aang's Chakras and target those. And he should have knowledge of what Azula did to him in the season 2 finale, so Aang's Avatar State would basically become a non factor.

It makes little to sense to have a contigency plan against someone with firm moral principles, that relies on those principles, if the only reason to enact that plan would be if the person abandoned those principles (which, by the way, Aang would never do).

Not to mention i dont think batman would want to resort to fighting abatar state,les he accidently kill him and break the cycle.

Kidnap sokka and katara will come after you. With bloodbending. Also if Toph is with aang she will sense batman coming a mile away. Aang can also generate strong winds and produce fire without a source. Plus avatar state. Batman could learn how to chi block to beat aang or any other benders.

Best way to neutralize him is to prevent him from breathing. Bending relies on chi flow, which relies on the breath. Trap him in a vacuum, and you'll stop him very quick.

You are forgetting one things. The human body is made up with a lot of water. So all Aang would need to do is draw out all that water. Or turned it into ice or steam. But I'm guessing no one has every thought of that. So what would happen to the human body if all the water was sucked out. Or if the water turned into ice or steam?

Or you could just hit him with a gun while he's off guard. The bullet will travel faster than the air coming off of it, thus remaining indetectable for Aang. Neither the sound, airwaves, or seismic activity from the action of firing will reach Aang before the bullet itself does. If you don't want to kill him, you can use a tranquilizer. Anything you want, so long as it travels faster than the speed of sound.
