I love this soundtrack. Especially when you're doing the Predator parts with the stealth, and you take them out one by one the music just escalates.

How I would rank the Arkham Games: 1. Arkham City - Perfect, Best Batman Story 2. Arkham Knight - Too Much Tank, Great Story, Very Interactive, Great Side Quests 3. Arkham Asylum - Obviously Small and Less Interactive, Good Story 4. Arkham Origins - Too Buggy, Cheesy Prequel Story, Surprisingly Strong Multiplayer

Player One I said it sucked balls compared to Arkham City's ost. That doesn't mean it's bad on its own (which it isn't).

You know, Origins was a pretty damn good game... it's just, having this masterpiece as its predecessor? It sure will disappoint. Epic story, awesome gameplay, top notch voice acting and a wonderful OST. It really doesn't get any better than this.

That's actually interesting, since The Dark Knight Returns' soundtrack also have such influences from Zimmer&Howard's work... Similarly, 90's Animated Series and related films have something common with Danny Elfman's score in Burton's Batman. I think it's nice to have such connections (if they are done intentionally) between Batman scores of different eras.

It's badass yet sexy.

the people who created the arkham games are just an amazing group of individuals. they've pieced everything together so well and have represented batman and the entire cast just so well.

While some may call this game overrated, I find it phenomenal. Easily a contender for my favorite game of all time. I can't decide though. I get so nostalgic listening to this spectacular soundtrack. The thought of getting this game back when this game hadn't released was exhilarating. Listening to the main theme makes me want to cry.

Sudden Death sounds a bit like the invasion theme from Arkham knight

I love how all of the songs are distinct, but they all bear some similarity to each other. Really makes it more cohesive.

i still cant find the theme with the vocals in the background and really upbeat music i will not stop.

Listen to "It's Initiation Time" at Speed Setting 1.5. Sounds epic!

I put this game up there with the Mass Effect trilogy for best games I ever bought for my Xbox 360. Despite having so many newer games an a One, I still go back to play Arkham City. After all, it is the only Arkham game where I can use the Batman Beyond batsuit. I heard about Arkham Asylum and didn't buy it or City because I thought they would just be more cheap knockoff superhero games. I bought City with all the DLC for $20, and I was totally blown away. Then I heard Mark Hammil's voice and I instantly had flashbacks to watching Batman The Animated Series as a kid. This is probably the best Batman game ever. If Arkham Knight is at least half as good, it'll be one I keep for a long time.

Crispy Potatoes I liked arkham asylums combat, it differed from the others, showed that batman didn't have all the gadgets he had in city, although origins completely fucked that up, uhhh forget what I said!

That's not really what I'm talking about. I went back to it a week ago or so, after playing through Knight and it's very unrefined and not as precise as Knight's, which is my problem with it. Sometimes batman doesn't exactly do what I want and combos and such are very primitive.

+PesteNoire88 This is one of those games you'd want to erase from your memory to play it for the first time again. Even being as lazy as I am, totally worth 100% completion because even the collectibles are fun to get. Plus, Freeze fight is one of the most beautiful boss fights ever, and the challenge maps are fun as fuck. I've already completed asylum, city, origins and half of knight (I'm waiting for a major patch release since the unfortunate pc version) and I have to say that City was groundbreaking and knight is pretty much as groundbreaking as city was, the whole saga will make worth your while. greetings!

This game has to be the BEST game ever made this generation, it has beautiful graphics, an amazing story line, fluid combat controls and amazing Voice Acting along side Cut scenes that look like they should be in a movie.

I loved the Arkham Series, it has superb everything! Not to mention an amazing Riddler Revival!

Hmm I wonder why this soundtrack is so much shorter than Asylum's, the Main Theme and I Think You Should Do as He Says are two of the greatest video game tracks ever.

16:17 is the music that plays when you take out an armed hostage in a secured area during a mission. Now I realize there is way too much chorus in these tracks, but they managed to pull it off somehow and make it cool

Best Batman game ever made. Definitely better than Arkham Knight. City has the best soundtrack, best story, best DLC and many other things. Next, it was the most Batman-like game. The map was dark and grim, which suits batman perfectly. Although, I would have to say that Knight did have the best side quests, but City's side quests were really good nonetheless.

i'm not used to hearing the soundtrack without the sounds of impaling bullets coming after me

Well said. I can think of very few other games that match all that. Arkham City is one of the best games ever created.

This score should be part of the new live action Batman movies.. I think arkham city (on its own) has the definitive Batman Badass, dark , sarcastic, good guy, no killing rule .. caring , menacing His default suit is cool, the mask looks cool, armor looks classic and modern His cape looks elegant perfect Batman I wish we got more stories with this Batman.. Arkham asylum (yes I know it’s supposed to be the same version) he was written little differently he looked older Arkham origins he seemed like a completely different take on Batman Arkham knight’s Batman looked too futuristic and a lot younger plus the Bruce Wayne character model looks slightly different too ..

In a way we dont need movies anymore. This game is definitive batman. And the voice actors and writers have worked on other batman stuff which makes it more awesome.

I think Nick Arundel used Hans Zimmer's work as inspiration, both this theme and his sound quite similar but there's no doubt they are both EPIC! And it's actually great that they sound similar because that way Batman from the films and batman from the games are more connected :)

well it may be the 4th game in the series but its technically the 3rd game at the same time because arkham origins is well an origin story and doesnt progress the storyline when rocksteady finishes the next arkham game which kevin conroy has confirmed that hes working on it and it does exist, that will be the true 3rd game though im sure origins will kick ass, lookin forward to it :D

I don't think we were supposed to feel sorrow for jokers death, I actually looked down on joker when he died and felt like saying good riddance dirt bag. his performance by Mark Hamill was so great it made me feel like I was in batman's shoes. batman wasn't pitying him either he just felt relieved.

I see more of a mixture of the score from the cartoon series and Danny Elfman's score, especially cause of the vocals in the background. Zimmer's score is in there, especially in the percussion, but I think the other themes are more prominent.

I've never played a game so good and complete since Baldur's Gate.
