Honestly, I kind of miss when superheroes, especially Batman, could just be laid back and pure comedic campiness like that. There’s too much dark grittiness these days and it would be nice to go back to bat-shark repellent that you can just sit back and laugh your heart out at

My favorite is "holy priceless collection of Etruscan snoods!" I believe they are referring to a hair snood, but the ancient civilization (Etruscans 900-27 b.c.) wasn't around when they were invented (725 AD!?) but revived many times over the years. I had 2 in the 1980s. I believe they were joking about an etruscan shrew which is a rodent.
