I got all excited with the concept of cold wax, but when I saw your results I was sad for you, maybe just the one colour is the magic, but hey!, you kept going & ended up with a fun result!

Hi Gay, Don't be sad! I'm not sad. I learned A LOT + I have a new shawl that I've been wearing non-stop since I made it. The point is that it totally works with stencils and you can create wonderful results with it. Just, maybe, take a bit more time and don't jump in before you ready. Or maybe do. Hahaha! I'm definitely going to order new dye and have another go sometime!

@@SilverPennyArtisans Yes, that's what I originally wanted to buy, but then I got sidetracked by the cold wax (thinking it would be easier). I will try that!

I’ve been a crafter (and professional instructor) for decades and sadly, not everything turns out. It’s humbling and frustrating because of the investment of time, materials, and high expectations. We have to tell ourselves not to give up. I’d love to see you try this again but first think amount what might have caused this project to not turn out so you can avoid those mistakes with he next one.
