Nice vid bro ... we don't use putty on the connections much over here. Its generally silicone sealant.

8:17 food for thought with some wide spread faucet's you can use a 12in crescent wrench for the under nut room permitting. With ones that don't have the water ports sticking out a tub socks will also do the trick. Also might want to install the faucet before setting it on the top other then that sold install.

Thank you! I wanna say doing this one I was a little out of order on my filming but typically do install the faucet first which is what I ended up doing as you could see it the video after. I appreciate the feedback and input!!

Put in a Moen Genta 2 handle in the bathroom and both faucets leak leak a little at their bases when turned on. No water underneath. Did exactly as you did, decent roll of pipe dope, snugged up the faucets underneath but not really cranking on them. Retightened them, leak is worse. Going to pull them both off, redo the pipe dope again. Is it normal for the faucet valves to leak in operation? I gather it is since they require dope or o-rings. Kind of pissed that for the prices they want for fixtures, they can't throw in some 10 cent o-rings.

They definitely should not leak during operation! You say you used pipe dope? The only sealing you should have to do is with plumbers putty on the underside, maybe that’s the issue possibly? Let me know if you figure it out!

If you use plumbers putty and put a complete roll around it it should never leak. Plumbers putty has been a round forever and for good reason. I would never use anything else where plumbers putty will work

@@BlueCollarBiceps I think clear glue is weak compared to blue glue

Okay makes sense. I’ll have to give the blue glue a try, I’ve only used clear. Thanks for watching!

I just installed exact same faucet and followed instructions to a tee... all I am getting is a light drizzle, not a full flow like your shows... water supply is strong, I tested those lines and they are clear and working great. I tried taking out tiny filter all together, made no difference.. any ideas what the problem might be?

Any luck with that vanity faucet. Mines the same. All kinds of pressure feeding the sink but my identical faucet trickles water. I dropped the plastic cover under the spout and removed the two Allen screws. Going to get tool and remove the aerator. Is there some flow restriction on these faucets. This is my master bath vanity faucet

I have the same faucet and the water pressure is super low. It was fine before i installed it. Do I need to remove the aerator?

Yes definitely take that off and see if there is any sediment caught inside and if so just rinse it out

This one feeds up through the neck of the spout and hooks up that way. It should be right in the manual as well!
