July 1998 - Archive footage of Dr Wouter Basson giving testimony at the Truth and Reconciliation Commission in the late 1990s. Basson was testifying about his former role as the head of the apartheid government's biological warfare programme.

Basson has, of course, NOT been convicted of any crime in a court of law. His biased conviction by HPCSA (Health Professional's Council of SA) was also subsequently overturned by the courts. He is currently a well-known practicing cardiologist.
