Well,...Phil sold it and he sold it to someone we don't know. So whoever got his BM Q5 is blessed! OMG! I was upset that he didn't call me. It all good. I'll snap back. : D

Coop man that KSD sounds awesome! Wish you didn’t have to take the preamp out! To my ears It actually sounds similar to your Mexican fenders! Are the fat poles what gives it that sound? Thinking about getting a set of Big Phatty’s. It would be cool to hear the KSD next to the Suhr Fenders.

No foot pedals,...the strings I use are "DEAN MARKLEY" SR 2000'S. That's my thing. I do have a lot of "BEHRINGER" pedals, but I don't use them. Too funny. : D

Is that the Pike Audio red box or is it the Bass Mods red box in your KSD? Does Phil have the Pike Audio red box or the Bass Mods red box? Pike Audio is now 3leaf Audio.

Hey @Clark Wimbely! BassMods doesn’t make the Red Box preamp. Pike Audio does. They were formally called the Shapeshifter. Now, they’re called the Anima. They still have the Red & Blue Box preamp modules. The cool this about them is that they’re interchangeable. One of my basses has the Red Box & another has the Blue Box. I love them.

Got you beat on price. Got my Bassmods k-6/Sunburst for $275 2-stack knobs 2-regular knobs 2-switches 2-batteries Don’t even know what most of that shit DOES! Went to this from 4-string Too much bass for me, but it’s all I got.

I gotta get me one of them!
