I had no idea soapbars could sound so damn fat. Love the first and last slap riffs.

Very nice! What type of Bartolini soapbar?

I do not understand why Elricks are not more popular?

One reason is that Elrick does not give basses away to artists for free. Many other higher profile companies do, and thus are seen more frequently. I agree. The quality is incredible for the cost.

+BassClubChicago, maybe Rob Elrick should change his policy. If he gave away four or five basses to the right people, it might be a game changer because his basses surely hang with MTD, Pedulla, Fodera, etc.

It's kind of a matter of integrity and pride. Mike Pedulla doesn't give anything away either - even high profile guys who've been playing his basses for years still pay full price. It speaks to the quality of the instruments, since anyone playing one of his basses must have wanted it enough to buy it. I suspect Elrick has a similar mentality.

Good point, and I'm a fan of Pedulla as well, but I've only had a handful of people as for one of his basses since we opened in 2005. A real shame.

Bass Club Chicago Yea it is a shame. I've been down to the Pedulla shop a number of times and you will never meet a more down-to-earth, unassuming guy than Mike. What's nice is that, from talking to him, it seems he's every bit as busy as he'd like to be at this point. And it is a one-man shop after all.
