That's a great drum intro. I played it back a few times just for that. And altogether, a great groove with tight timing (both of you, I mean). I'm not familiar yet with any of your stuff, but this short little thing is curiosity fuel. Well done.

Passion comes first and theory explains only what already exists and sounds good. This is a crisp af little funk jam, and also this guy uses different scales in his licks (dorian, mixolydian, blues, diminished, phrygian) @@MisticWays

That’s a drummer I’d jam with. Keeps a tight groove, nice accents and fills, doesn’t do crazy stuff that would take away from the other musician, and knows how to compliment the other musician. Well done. 🎉
