Very nice video! Abput aerobic capacity , i think that's really important because creatine recomposes with phosphate produced into mitochondria. We know that mitochondria multiplies and gets bigger through aerobic training. So in my opinion is kind of important to work a litlle bit aerobic. Im not playing it smart, this video helped me a lot! Just sharing ideas

Nice job matt!! Make one like this for tennis players. Also, explain what the “A1 and B1, B2” labeling is. Thanks

I'm obviously not Matt, but from his soccer vid, using the same letter designation for different exercises indicates combining them in a superset

Yes, A1/A2 would be a superset. B1/B2/B3 would be a circuit. Just C1 alone would mean you just do all the sets of that exercise before moving on to the next.

Thanks for the video. I have a question….Wouldn’t aerobic power be a more useful attribute to develop in basketball players allowing them to maintain a high power output without producing too much lactate? The downside of anaerobic conditioning would mean athletes would be training in a way that encourages fatigue and then replicate that in games. What are your thoughts on aerobic power training and which sports is this most suited to?

To an extent yes aerobic work could provide a good base for other energy systems. It’s a good point on fatigue and there’s a case to be made for a percentage of training volume to be lower intensity recover type aerobic work. That probably varies sport to sport and season to season.
