Few songs have been re-recorded more frequently than Basin Street Blues since its original Louis Armstrong-led rendition in 1928. There were many heated arguments in the BBTx "office" as to which version to emulate for this track, and in the end it doesn't quite match any of them! Still, at least we resisted the urge to call this "Bassless Street Blues".
