Basim Valhalla voice sound so soothing it’s calming and wise at the same time something about his voice in Valhalla just sounds perfect for the character

In the last cutscene I’m pretty sure Basim’s voice actually changes to sound like himself from Valhalla at the end so that was nice attention to detail

Yeah he does kind of wish at the end we kept the voice change and we still saw him be his you arrogant self but wouldn’t make sense considering the ending scene

In my opinion they nailed it perfectly. A young 20 year old voice versus a 45-50 year old voice is not the same. They sound similar enough to the point where it’s the same character but ever so different

@@chriswiggins1679 there’s no way. Mirage takes place 20 years before Valhalla and Basim is like 21 in mirage Edit: he is 20 in mirage which would put him between 40 and 50 years old throughout the events of Valhalla

@tomdimartino2675 Google my friend. Valhalla is 10 years after the start of Mirage. It's like 4 or 5 after the end. I was surprised too, but it's true. That means Basim was only in Constantinople for a few years.

No not really they had the voice in the end of the game.

The voice is way better in Valhalla it’s also probably my favorite voice out of any assassin other then Altair

I like younger Basim better, but both voices do him justice.

They sound very similar. Great casting selection.

i hope in the modern day segments they still use the old basim voice

Ezio's voice at the begining of AC2 is also incredibly different to the end, it changes gradually during the game. AC Mirage did good on making Basim sound younger, and at the end it is more similiar to ACV

Older Basim's voice is amazing because its Carlo Rota.

I love the older voice, a little bit more. More depth. More serious.

I think Mirage VA; did a good job portraying Basim. While you can tel the change… ppl voices change as the get older. But kudos to maintaining Basim’s level-headed demeanor.

He's more charismatic in valhalla

Switch the game voices to arabic and Basim sounds very similar to Valhalla.

one is Basim's voice, one is Loki's voice, when Loki overtook Basim's psyche and replaced him, his voice came out.

Loki's voice has always been the same even through his incredibile long lifespan as an isu, so it's not a voice tone cauaed by aging, it's Simply Loki's voice..young basim had yet to have his psyche overtaken by Loki, so he still had his original human voice.

I think I've changed my mind on what I think I think Bassem does sound right in Mirage because he's 33 in Valhalla and probably like a young adult in Mirage I think his voice matches

It’s not really a change as much as it is Basim surrendering his identity to become Loki. It’s Lokis voice and even their faces switch afterwards.

It changes for 2 reasons. He got older and at the end of the game it changes ( SPOILERS) Because he became one with Loki.

dont know why but visually the character models looked so shitty in valhalla even origins had better character models graphically

Forgot to mention his high pitched patronizing tone he takes with women and children. Hilarious 😊

It’s very simple in Mirage, he is speaking is native language and in Valhalla he is speaking English without speaking native.

Lee Madjoub is a great Basim. His voice gets deeper and closer to how Carlo Rota speaks. When Basim comes out of the cave newly awakened you can hear his voice change over the course of a sentence. When he asks how long has it been?
