Just got my x9000 on mx4 and I can’t set higher than 7.5kw???? And my top speed is only 40 where I went 49 on stock controller please any advice?

Running stock motor on my 22 Surron Lightbee with a 72v Chi battery and of course, the x9000. I have a lot of overheating on the motor when climbing any hills, or if I'm on the throttle hard for more than 20-30 seconds with any incline. My tune - only running 8KW and 300-400 phase amps/motor current. Trying to figure out how to mitigate the chances of the stock motor overheating. I don't have a PC to check the settings on the VESC PC app, but I noticed the VESC app has a setting that the iphone app doesn't have called, "Acceleration Temperature Decrease". What does this setting do?

Hey mate If your having over heat issues, there was a bug on early firmware that affected some users. I'd definitely reach out to get that updated mate. The ATD basically brings on the over temperature cut off sooner.

Where can I download this VESC for the x-9000? I dont see any windows download options anywhere and its driving me nuts.

At minute 10:00 in the video, you specify that limiting the speed, makes the bike feels like it has more torque for hard enduro & trial. What is the explanation for it? can't figure it out. Thanks.
