I went with Black Legion since I can have Khorne Berzerkers, Rubric Marines, Noise Marines and Death Guard as allies, I paint them in a black scheme while keeping some of their original cult colors

I believe it's the scanning of the models that does that. Turning a model into polygons and stretching those textures to fit is going to mess it up.

The real heresy was the the friends we killed along the way. Also damn man, you are summarizing it way to much, you did my boy Siggy dirty. There was so much meme potential in that fight and you just went "Sigismund got crumped and his body was delivered to Terra"

Iskandar Khayon is lowkey one of the most badass humans in all warhammer 40K.

Long time watcher of the WoW channel and of 40k. I've played Black Legion on the tabletop for a few years now too. This video slaps. There's basically no 40k YT lore content that actually addresses the Legion Wars or the Battle for Cantacle City, and it's just so cool to see these brought up, and not only that, but with the level of production quality on offer. Amazing work!

Bro completely misinterpreted why Abaddon shipped Sigismund back to Terra 💀 They had a 1-v-1 that was extremely close even though Abaddon was juiced up on Chaos and Sigismund was old. However, even though he ended up killing him, Abaddon held an extremely high regard for Sigismund as a warrior and sent his body back to Terra as a show of respect.

Also, if I can ask you a question, do you think that, in the long term, you could bring not only 40k, but also Age of Sigmar? I think your style of making these videos could be great for AoS!

16:28 His tossing of the blackstone fortress was more of a desperate act rather than a strategic plan.😅 It makes Failbaddon the Harmless(Armless) look like a he just threw his pieces at the board, out of frustration, because he was about to lose...again.😅

The style you're doing is great! Though the models themselves look kind of blurry and lacking in detail, that's not really that big of a deal. However, while the color on the models probably stand out a lot better in reality, they look kind of muted and sometimes barely visible. If it is possible to increase the contrast in whatever software you use, I think that would ultimately make the models stand out much more! That, or it's something to do with the lighting.

I have only played warhammer with my dad as a kid and I just choose an army that looked the coolest I didn’t realize I choose such a messed up faction but I’m all for it

You really had few ways of knowing this, but Abaddon didn't fight his way to Horus's corpse. It was left on the floor, and he simply came back to the room.

I love seeing how you, Platinum, transitioned to Warhammer content with time, the way I had it and I guess many other people as well. Warcraft was amazing and it was, at some point, a better more modern and much more amazing clone of Warhammer, until... Well, you know. And now we simply turned to the more stable and ever-nice classic. I genuinely love Warcraft and it is my childhood but DAMN Warhammer is so much better in so many ways it's amazing. I hope to enjoy watching your new channel grow with years and wish you all the luck. You will become one of the few amazing WH lore channels in no time!

I have not played wow in many years, but if i had the choice between wow or 40k, i think i would never even look at the direction of 40k. Its such a cringefest that it makes my balls shrivel up like you are standing naked in the snow. And thats compared to wow even, thats saying a lot lol.

well i will give credit, the thumbnail is like the first time outside of someone's paint job i seen someone actually depict abbadon with his golden scared eyes as described in the black legion series who otherwise gets shafted very often by GW... like because it ain't dan abnet it evidently isn't untouchable cannon immediately so texmp the black blade has no scar hints, magnus never seem to mention Iskandar Khayon and gl finding official art of aba with golden eyes.

Thank you for the video, Platinum. I've got only one problem with videos: structure. I don't know anything about Warhammer lore(I came from WoW channel) and I can't really understand how most of the stuff is interconnected. If you're making videos specifically for Warhammer fans, then I will shut my mouth and never comment again. But if you're aiming at dumb civilians like me, then I would love to see more in-depth stories without instant changes in timelines and topics, even if it means the quality of background picture/animations in videos will suffer. I hope this doesn't come as disrespect or like I don't value what you're doing: I certainly understand how hard it is do do the research, write the script and make animations, especially when you're the only person doing it. Love your content and love you! Wish you a huge success in your life

When I grew up, everyone shit on Abbadon for not doing anything and all of his crusades being repelled. I'm so stoked that GW has given Abbadon a MASSIVE dub with the newest lore, because the man deserves it after the decades of hate he got. Also his sword is awesome.

I just bought my 200 th book after 7 years and reading the herasy and many many others I can’t wait for this new series The Scouring in The Ens And The Death pt3 it mentions there will be a scouring across the galaxy this was my 200th book and a good way to cap off the Herasy storyline and a start to the next chapter in 40k
