He mentions her because 1. The reference he used for the song Eminem wrote "My dad's gone crazy" actually has Hayley on the chorus and intro I believe, all he was doing was repeating what she had said in that song so hence why he said her name (he wasn't throwing shade at her or anything, just relaying what she originally said) but it's a double whammy because of the fact he needed to use her name because she in fact like I said says those lines in that song. Smart move really

I have heard good things about mgk with fans I know there is some he just ignores because he doesn’t think they actually care about him or his music and he’s especially good with the younger fans

So after that mgk spent several years throwing random sneaky disses in random freestyles no one was paying attention to but then he got on a song with techn9ine and threw a sneak diss at eminem in it. After that eminem made a song called not alike where he tears mgk apart After that theres a video with mgk popping champagne(will become relevent later) after eminem finally responded to him and a few days later he released this song Then after that eminem made killshot Mgk then did a few podcasts pretending things were good, his next album flopped and he switched to punk rock full time. Since then eminem just keeps trolling him in random songs every chance he gets. I think thats everything.

i know i'm gonna get hate for this... but rap devil is just better IN COMPARISON to killshot. overall, i much prefer em as an actual artist. there's more content to rap devil and the insults are more creative. i remember when this exploded as a battle, and i still think this one wins. keep in mind this is my opinion and i'm not looking to argue. from my perspective, the overall delivery of rap devil is superior. killshot feels somewhat half assed and not very well put together. had em come out with a track like that ten years ago, i think he would've DESTROYED kelly. before 2013, he would have absolutely no chance. i wouldn't even give it any thought. i just think rap devil was more structured and had more thought put into it. i had very few "holy shit" realizations with killshot

Eminem's response was better lyrically but MGK made a better "song." Killshot is also the worst diss track Eminem has ever made, IMO. All his other diss tracks are better, lyrically and as songs. Not sure what happened with Killshot.

I don't mind MGK, in fact I REALLY like his music but this song is so bad. As a Disstrack it is so bad. Especially compared to the comeback "Killshot" by Eminem.. this is nothing.

@R mu He put out 2 whole rap albums after the beef and did nearly a year of random quarantine session videos that were also rap. His last rap album and his quarantine sessions were all his best rated and best recieved work he has ever done! If there was ever a time or reason for him to stick with rap...it was then. He has always done both genres and there are multiple interviews from many years ago, where he has mentioned the idea of doing a rock/pop punk type album someday. He has calabed with multiple rock artists and even toured with Papa Roach and was set to tour with Linkin Park when Chester died. He was wearing a spiked mohawk on his head on his very 1st album for crying out loud!!! Rest assured that this "switch" had nothing to do with Eminem and you can bet that we have not seen the last of him rapping either 😒 🙄
