I think the most interesting thing about Killshot & Rap Devil that no one mentions is that both Em & Mgk are holding back. Em isn't getting personal enough and attacking Mgk off his music, personal life, etc. Em generally just reversed some of Rap Devil while saying in short, "I'm bigger, richer & sale more than u. As for Mgk, he's conflicted internally, battling one of his idols & one of the rappers who influenced him & got him through rough times in his life. That's why there are compliments & what sounds like Mgk voicing compliments on some parts of RD. Also, I don't think Mgk thought Em would respond, which is why Rap Devil isn't on his usual lv of lyricism & rhyme schemes. It's a diss, love letter, banger, and list of complaints all in 1.

MGK was on Sway one time a long time ago and then he said that dumb shit about his daughter on KZread. He saw a picture of her, he said she was hot. He was 21 she was 16 but he didn’t know how old she was. Then he wasn’t allowed back to sway and there was alot of places he wasn’t allowed back into like shade 45, he got dropped from double XL once and other stuff behind the scenes.

MGK was the only one to respond and did so within 48 hrs with Rap Devil. Which forced Em to respond w Killshot. IMO MGK Rap Devil is a better dis track and a better sounding song. It's not anywhere near Killshot on a technical bar comparison, but I think that's shallow and narrow minded to condense Hip Hop down to purely its lyricism and technical components. Energy and context are immensely important too

It was definitely the hardest hit towards Em, but was is really better.. Why would he be scared? Yeah Eminem could've gone harder than Killshot if he wanted but he didn't need too. He still lyrically demolished MGK by only giving like 5%

The previous song that em did was "not alike". The beef started because MGK kept going on about em blackballed him, when em didn't even have MGK on his radar. I guess that would depends on how you define Win and Lose. It's a Diss battle. MGK same as Nick Cannon both did it just out of click bait which is very evident by the numbers they gained just to mention Eminem. So sure, he didn't lose out on the fact he gained alot of follows but as a pure diss it was weak. Keep talking about age? As if MGK won't grow up and be old some day lol.
