Here are the Drum
There are so many definitions already been given to percussion and I don’t have anything against all of them because they are correct but to me, percussion is any object that brings out sound each time force is applied on them.
Also, Musical instruments played by striking with the hand or with a stick or beater, or by shaking
A percussion instrument consisting of a hollow cylinder or hemisphere with a membrane stretched tightly over one or both ends, played by beating with the hands or sticks
The drum is a member of the percussion group of musical instruments. It is also known as a membranophone it is a Drums consist of at least one membrane, called a drumhead or drum skin, that is stretched over a shell and struck, either directly with the player's hands, or with a drum stick, to produce sound. There is usually a resonance head on the underside of the drum, typically tuned to a slightly lower pitch than the top drumhead. Other techniques have been used to cause drums to make sound, such as the thumb roll. Drums are the world's oldest and most ubiquitous musical instruments, and the basic design has remained virtually unchanged for thousands of years.
Narrowing it down to Africa I can boldly say that we have or invented the largest number of percussion in the world. So if we are asked to mention all drums we have in Africa that may be an unending task because the number is huge.

It's all boils down to the making of the drum... some are better on bass while some are octave better. Largely medium size does it for me. Once you tell us what you want, we deliver it to you
