@@marcushawkinsmusic This drumming business I've embarked on may be an extension of my thought experiment with sticks and balls, known as golf. Get the muscle memory started and let the brain carry the rest. Hitting balls with sticks and the desire to create, not just passively listen to, rhythms, has been my excursion into the primitive. Noisy though, holy shit.

I was listening to this for the first time while doing some work and thought, "Man, this would make a killer bass drum/hi hat or double bass drum exercise as well." Very cool channel, thoroughly enjoying your content for pad work.

Great warmup Marcus! I love your videos. Also great for drum set Independence. I put a kick and crash on all accented notes also move the accents around the drums. Great tempo to get centred before playing. Keep it up my man

I like how you swapped your metronome for an smooth meditative beat. Takes practicing to another level... Just remind me not to play on my laps next time. Those accents started to itch at some point.
