WOW! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I was always the most uncoordinated self conscious dancer. This helps so much. Can’t wait to try these out on the dance floor. ❤

Love it 💜
you are so great both dancing and english speaking :)
Great great great! Love how you make the simple steps interesting for beginners, a rare talent! I would really be thrilled to learn more Afrobeat breakdowns, like the Gwara Gwara one. Chocobodi maybe? Kupe? (I'd love to know what the backward peace sign REALLY means in Nigeria! 🙂). In general, looking for ways to teach basic Afrobeat moves to beginners. Thanks!

Yes, of course! 🙌
You teach well. My only comment is I find it difficult to concentrate on your voice when there is that sound in the background (sort of a beat noise). Thank you for the lessons

Thanks so much for the feedback! 🙏 Would you prefer no background music at all, or just lower volume?

@@LearnHowToDance Hi Thank you for reading my comment and replying to me. Just while you’re explaining things in the teaching steps - I find any sound too much. I have difficulties with distractions like music in the background. (The same on Tv when they have the people doing sign language to the side of the screen.) Obviously once you start doing the dance move and joining the steps together the music is necessary for the beat/rhythm. Many years ago I volunteered at a community radio station and write short scripts about festivals from around the world and I sourced the music appropriate to the country the festival came from. When I was asked to do the voice recordings, I had an ongoing (friendly) disagreement with the sound recordist because he wanted to play the music behind my speaking but I thought it distracted too much from the information I was imparting. I still do find this style distracts from the major focus being the speaker You are really good at teaching and explaining the moves and showing the movements in slow motion. I found your videos really helpful and you show so much patience with the good number of repetitions you go through, so viewers can practice again and again. I’m not very quick at picking up dance steps or singing either. And retaining them! Thank you very much for posting your videos online. Where do you learn your steps? You must have a passion for dance to keep up with all the moves and being so creative. Best wishes Jenny
