Are you sure that's a condenser microphone?. It looks like an electret capsule. Nice presentation. Thanks, Peter.

I dunno, I see sellers use both names used with the same component. I'll have to learn the difference.

An electret capsule is a condenser capsule. It is permanently polarized because of some special materials used in the construction, whereas the condenser capsule you're probably thinking of is externally polarized. Typically, a condenser microphone with an externally polarized capsule is fed with 48V "phantom power", and the capsule itself may receive anywhere from 40V-80V or more depending on the design of the microphone, using some form of DC-DC conversion in the circuitry. Sometimes, externally polarized condenser capsules are referred to as "true condenser capsules", but this is a marketing gimmick. Electret capsules are just as "true", they're just permanently polarized as I mentioned. I hope this cleared up the confusion.

can anything to be done to reduce background noise? by change smoothing capacitor type or capacity?

I bought more microphones with wires already attached but can't find where I put them. I was going to start making these circuits again when I got a break from working a lot of hours. So, unfortunately I haven't made anymore progress.

The .47uF capacitor is used to block DC voltage, allowing only AC (audio), to pass.

I can't as of now lol. One of my viewers named Haze Anderson does DIY audio circuits on his youtube channel and twitch. I got the urge to try to make music with electronic circuits earlier today. There's about a 50-50 chance I will put in my 2 week notice at work tomorrow and youtube full time again. So, I should try out everything I can think of.

I note the capacitors aren't standard ceramic. Are these a tantalum? Are these better for low audio noise?

I'm pretty sure they are just regular ceramic capacitors. Came from a low priced kit.

You should add an other amp circuit and you exactly link the output of the mic circuit in the r or l input as audio input. .

Yeah, that should work. When I was working a lot, I bought some microphones that I think will work better but now I can't find them whenever I look lol. Don't know if I'll ever get back to this project. @@naturesounds1664
