@@DarthKofi391deathASSASSIN Matt and Trey didn't write or direct Baseketballl, they only star in it. It was written and directed by David Zucker. Matt and Trey's real third movie was South Park bigger, longer and uncut and fourth was Team America: World Police. I get that you are referring to films they actually live action acting in but just wanted to clear that up for anyone reading.

I love Cannibal the Musical, even bought the DVD for the drunken commentary, it's probably the best one of all time AND it manages to stay infomative despite their B.A.C. Orgazmo got me grounded, I rented it at the videostore, and my Mom saw the tape sticking out of my VCR. All she saw was the title, and she instantly thought I'd rented a porno. She didn't believe me when I said there wasn't any nudity other than a man's bare ass covering the boobage.

This movie is horrible and I love it. It’s so mean spirited, tasteless, and downright stupid in its writing. I’m almost convinced that the film would be unwatchable if anyone else played the two lead characters. Trey and Matt have an iconic friendship and perfect on screen chemistry

@ManWithMicrophone basically, my lil' brother was a Sophomore, I was a Senior. We knew enough nerds to collectively form 3 teams, we would meet at the local middle school courts on Fridays after school (fri. Was 1/2 days in CA). I would provide herbal accouterments to those that partook. And we played some Baseketball like only teenagers could. It all spawned in an "arts production" class, which was very progressive at the time. You learned how to shoot and edit short films. It was (obviously) mostly stoner drama kids. We got a 1/4 page in the yearbook, no big deal.

One of the joys of my life was going to see Baseketball. I also saw Orgasmo. Yeah I suppose you know the demands of South Park, creating a feature film, Team America: World Police, etc... I do wish there would have been more Matt Stone and Trey Parker films, but you know people also wish their were more Beatles films too. Sometimes these folks get so busy, and they are in such high demand; they run out of time to make more great work; which is the definition of irony.

What's crazy is how consistently good South Park season ratings are... Also, if I recall PHONEbooth had release issues because there was an actual active sniper that started up a few weeks before the films release and the studio chose to delay the release and the public (back then) thought it was tempting fate to go see it.

Probably a product of it's cult status but every time I watch it I think that it really does not get enough credit for accurately predicting where professional sports & sports broadcasting were headed. A lot of things it was lampooning in what at the time was an exaggerated way became not that far from the truth in subsequent years. The only other movie with the number of one-liners is Happy Gilmore, and that is saying a lot. This movie is fantastic.

If I was able to set up a league I think there would be a lot of money to made if it's a youtube channel. If the psych outs are funny and creative.....combined with enough skilled players it would be great

This was a favorite when I was a teenager...I cried laughing the first time I saw it. Matt and Trey aren't proud of it but I think its a classic! The "over celebrating" touchdown dances are even relevant today..unfortunately.

This movie has both the best first half and worst second half of a movie ever. Love it though haha
