No coin for Base. Coinbase website says: eventually, they may have coin but not at this time.
Where can you buy it?

No coin, just a network you could use like Ethereum.
does coinbase have 10 times trades i know they have 3 times trading....

Thank you. Looking forward to the bridge hack on optimism. It will happen IMO. See it every year these bridges failing. Why is Coinbase not facing the same pressure by regulators as most all the other crypto projects. The middlemen Satoshi created Bitcoin to Elliminate have bought up the industry. Pathetic and sad.

Can definitely happen. Bridge hacks keep happening and that can destroy an entire chain (like Harmony). But doesn't mean people shouldn't keep trying to build something, it just means be very careful in the risks you take and ETH mainnet is where to store anything of value. As for regulatory pressure, probably because BASE isn't selling a coin or promising anything.

You call it "decentralized finance" but never even mention the decentralization part of BASE. for all we know there is a single validator and its coinbase, with the ability to censor anything they want on-chain. Just like CZ is doing with BSC. Worthless chain. Nothing permissionless about it.

Absolutely good points. There's a lot of centralized control, but that did make BNB a success and limited bleeding on some of the hacks. The world isn't ready for full DeFi, but these exchanges like Binance and Coinbase are bringing people on chain. Even if you hate them, they've been a successful in bringing people into crypto. Net win for all.
They also have a coin $base. Can you make a short video about their coin? 🙏🏻
