This coastal road in Basak, Lapu-Lapu City (Tangke Basak) will connect to Pilipog to Gabi coastal road and Timpolok Road in Babag II, LLC. This is an on-going project of the DPWH VII located in Basak Tangke to Goerge Tampus Road and to the back portion of La Alda Buena Subdivision Mactan. Some parts of the coastal road is already completed and some parts are still at different phases. Watch the video to see the on site status of the project.
In my own analysis, this will ease out traffic flow in Gabi_Suba Basbas area going to Marigondon-Basak & Marigondon-Maribago Road. It will also reduce the volume of traffic from Cordova proper going to Babag II-Kalawisan-Canjulao and Poblacion areas in LLC. Those coming from SRP will have an alternate route when going to M. Patalinghug Jr. Ave areas like The Outlets and also those that are going to Mactan Doctors area.
