Why cant they just do a remake of Kelly Slater Surf with updated graphics and some new stuff like they did for Tony Hawk?

I just downloaded ks pro surfer this week on the PC haha but dam I just want a more realistic type surfing game not arcade.. do you think I can find one???? lol I'm gonna try shore break but it's very bare bones but the most realistic really unless I choose to play true surf or billabong surfing game them 2 are phone games I unfortunately but even they are more realistic that most surfing games that's been ever made

@USCG veteran Christian gamer 1977 man I live like 2 minutes from a beach but it's non surf :( so I'm about the same as you around an hour or more to the nearest surf beach, I only get to go once maybe twice a week if I'm lucky. Back as a teenager I had it on PS2 and then in my early mid 20s I brought a an original Xbox so I could play and now at 35 I downloaded it for computer cuz it's abandonedware now. But I mostly only play Barton lynch pro surfer now

Has so much potential. Surfing games would be so hard to get right. But the fact you can paddle onto a wave in the flats is hell off putting, surely they can add a sweet spot for a successful or failed pop up and duck dive? No interference penalties? Why are the jet skis parking inside as well? Even a tweak to make it look less floaty would probably greatly improve the look and feel.

Transworld surf had it right 20 years ago I really really want this to be good!

best surfing games ever: Championship surfer and youriding

Why is every surf game so out of touch with physics and still stuck in the PS2 era? There are some games with incredible graphics and physics like sea of thieves water graphics are crazy. People are using gopros when surfing now too.. that would make a great POV. I know someone can do it, if any of these devs can do it and still get their morning session in.. I believe in you. I'm tempted to start a crowd fund at this point.

Transworld surf was the only game that felt somewhat realistic.. Kelly Slater had better graphics and wave mechanics but in Transworld you got the feeling of actually having to pump down the line to get speed. You felt attached to the wave. Here the surfers nose was pointed to the top of the wave and he just kept moving along down the line. It might just be that whoever’s playing doesn’t know how surfing works but it looks unrealistic.

Sunny Garcia was better

Update with UE 5.2. And update everything else. Add marine life, body boards, long boards, inflatables, kite-surfing, etc. add a photo mode, costumes for our character. I think the water and it’s physics could use an overhaul/update.

I sure hope the full version of this game looks better than this early release. 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Ok, for presentation they need to get the license rights from the wsl and implement a full wqs wct schedual of events and add way more locations, improve the graphics, and smooth out the gameplay mechanics into something more realistic while still keeping the fun factor which this game does have, it just needs better overhauls in pretty much every other aspect. And add more customization options and license more brands and shapers to back this thing, cuz the game is fun, it just sucks, if that makes any sense …

The game definitely has potential with the bug fixes

Oh this is bad. Like really bad. Mechanics are horrible and waves are so unrealistic. I get it’s a video game but this is clearly not the surfing game the world wants

This surfing game looks terrible, it needs a lot of help with the surfing mechanics and graphics to make it a proper up to date surfing game. imo there missing the mark....kelly slater is 10x better than this game could ever be and it's a 21yr old game, smfh. I think you guy's that are making this game should take notes before development
