Barry White also went to Manuel Arts High School . He was a low key type person to me ,seem to daydream in class about having a Orchestra. I would say to him " YOU MEAN A BAND" !! He said "NO" an Orchestra.. Brenda H. That was High School.
😮omg didn’t realize that he was so young when he passed, but glad that he was able to realize his dreams and share his great gift of songs with us, good thing that he started young, time would’ve run out on him. No one knows how much time one will have on this earth😢

Mr.Barry White was a down to earth man. I was told that he would welcome fans into his home. Mr. B. White stated they,(the fans) made him for what he became...."A Star!" ⭐️

I met Barry in the 90s when he was playing in my home town , Manchester UK. I waited for him outside his hotel and when he came out he couldnt have been nicer ! Such a huge smile when he saw me and so friendly and kind to me and gave me his autograph , posed for a photo (whilst tickling me !) and gave me a peck on my cheek . No wonder I cried when he died
He made Beautiful music. Thank you for the sounds Barry White, R.I.P.

Barry White is a legendary singer, songwriter, and producer. I remember walking to elementaryschool in the 70s and his sultry, soulful hits playing on the radio. His vocals and song arrangement were ahead of their time. I still love to listen those old hits. 🎶 🎤 🎹 ♥

Loved his records as a small child when my beautiful Mom would play them. Grew up still loving it. He’s timeless. My mom is in heaven now, but every time I play Barry White, I can see her face and smile and all the memories of us listening to him together-Barry White is timeless…..his music lives on. 🩷
The Legend lives on ❤ I have two of my all time favorites. Barry is certainly one 🙌
He was so cool, talented. I saw him playing dominos at SOUTH PARK and he went to the all boys school, Jacob A Reese on 69th-Broadway for bad boys (later becoming Bethune Jr High) . A talented gentle giant.
A very talented Man with the Gravel voice. The way he sings marvels me. May his soul rest in perfect peace.

I remember your unless impact on a lot of guitarists in the 70s. Every electric guitarist wanted to make their guitar Waah Waah. My oldtime friend Raheem Leblanc from the group GQ made it his signature sound.

Top man Barry, love your music 🎶 RIP 🙏
Interesting how an Elvis record inspired him. It is reported he once said, “ the genius of Elvis Presley is his ability to reinvent himself . Every artist reaches a point where they’re stagnant and their records start to sound similar , thus the need to reinvent yourself. Elvis is known 3 ways, the greasy satin suits 50s, the debonair 60smovie star and leather suit comeback, and the jumpsuit Vegas legend, I hope to do the same “

The icon of the 70s the entire decade was Barry's
In 2002 I was at a Golden Bird Chicken near mid town with my two kids who at the time was about eleven and three while sitting at the table of Barry striking and sophisticated classy woman walked in with very distinctive eyebrows as well as features I said to myself she looks familiar then it dawned on me that's glodean white so I took my two kids over to meet her and let her know how much of a fan I am of her and her culture and all of the women and men of that coaches she seemed surprised be being in my twenties at the time so when I went to introduce my daughter who was only three at the time to shake her hand my daughter kind of hesitantly move back and I said what's wrong that's when glodean said all it must be my nails he is known for having extremely long nails I will never forget that day very memorable moment memorable moment❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
