Savitar would be the closest for me. Zoom was terrifying but knowing Savitar was time remnant Barry + the CGI, suit and plan to be shattered throughout all of time by being hit with the Speed Force Gun. Savitar was also faster.

this scene between them was incredibly well acted, barry felt exactly like comic flash during the jail scene

I just have to say, Barry's suit looks AMAZING in this scene. It literally looks perfect when compared to the comics. Looks like a live action comic panel which is why i love this suit so much, especially with the Gold Boots

The only 2 supervillains to have been locked in there before Thawne were Slade Wilson, and Captain Boomerang. When Prometheus went there to establish his base, he went to see Digger to make a deal with him (and give him a gun); pretend to be on Green Arrow's side, betray him at the worst possible time, and he can leave Lian Yu when it's over. The underground prison must have been pretty big, since Talia al Ghul states that Prometheus said it would be useless to try to convert Deathstroke to their cause, which means they talked to Digger Harkness without Slade being aware of it... When Prometheus blew up the Island at the end of season 5, we didn't know if the ARGUS cell was destroyed of not, but that episode of The Flash finally revealed that it was still intact and still used to lock particularly dangerous individuals away, like the Reverse Flash.

It’s been awhile since I’ve caught up with the flash and this question has confused me for awhile but what’s the real reason why they keep using Tom Cavanagh as Reverse Flash instead of Matt Letscher? I noticed they brought him back for Legends of Tomorrow (briefly) but then for the flash they keep using Tom. Is it an in show reason or did some happen in the real world?

Barry is attached to Reverse-Tom than Reverse-Matt. Tom was the fac that started everything. This appearance is of the man who betrayed him. With "Wells" it's personal, with Thawne's true face it's not

when he created the Reverse Flashpoint he started to wipe out from the existence even with the negative speedforce, so Barry took his Speed and now Thawne Is "safe"

Legends is a time remnant that came from the timeline where Barry's mom is alive. This Thawne is the original one that "died" in Season 1 and returned to The Flash series. So its different variant.

@@jb57551 Not really. FlashPoint's Thawne undid FlashPoint at the Flash's request, so he lived through that entire timeline where he disguised himself as Wells for 15 years. What I don't understand is how he looks like Wells so far... at the end of Season 1 when he dies it shows him regaining his original form explaining his appearance in LoT, but in S4 of Flash he appears as Wells again .

Thawne said he can run around the earth in 5 seconds when he had his speed but that would mean he is mach 23k if he could run that fast and we know flash is faster than him but only mach 10k according to gideon so flash is slower than thawne or is he just exxagerating?
