I have never rooted so hard for someone I didn't know in real life. It always touches me when Barry talks about his mother, as I went through something similar , losing my Dad from addiction at a very young age. At any rate, he is a phenomenal actor & I wish him continued success and happiness 💙
I’m here after Saltburn and wow 😍 how have I never heard of him before? 😭
He is the one and only. Wonderful talent. What life, he has been through a lot. At now 2024 he IS now superstar. He made it. ❤love from Finland❤
He is wise beyond his years. Fair play to him he is really hitting the big time now and he deserves it as he is such a lovely fella. He has star power indeed!!
Barry is such an extraordinarily beautiful soul, and he deserves every highest wonderment of life as well as all the unfailing love and support in the world, which he will certainly always have from me. ❤
My mom died when I was 26. This interview is so comforting for me. Thank you, Barry❤️🩹

absolutely love Barry, such a genuine, talented, humble guy. His talent is undeniable and the different characters he's taken on so magnificently in the past few years has been a massive testament to this. All of this makes me think he's even more gorgeous than he already is lol
I’m in love again. ❤. 😊 your a smart young man Barry. I’m impressed 🎉
Barry is a gorgeous Irish man just like my own da was.. RIP daddy
I didn’t know this young actor before “Banshees” but BOY! I knew of him afterwards! AfrigginAMAZING!!
Im loving every second Barry is on screen. Most mesmerising actor around today.
His life journey is remarkable and inspiring. The interviewer here asked some truly authentic questions. Fantastic job by the host as an entertainment journalist. I would love to befriend Barry one day.

Killing of a Sacred Deer. It’s free to watch on pretty much any streaming platform. Trust that this actor is PHENOMENAL
I hope he reads back all of this comments, and continues pushing forward. So many people rooting for him and it speaks a lot about his work and who he is! ❤

Well he's adorable. 😘 Excellent interview. I love getting a peek inside my favourite actors' minds and it always amazes me how deeply they feel about their art. Which, of course, is what makes them great actors. There is always so much more beneath the surface of any seriously talented artist than what we can see on-screen (or in the painting or sculpture, etc.).
I really like him he’s very open
I love Barry sm. He deserves so much.
Can’t stop wishing him the best in every way. What an inspiration! All the conscious choices to move forward and grow! 🙏 truly incredible!
What a great interview. Barry is so good, such a presence in everything I've seen him in, and seems like such a down to earth person.
I'm heavily inspired by this guy After all he has experienced, he remains very nice and humble while I'm here losing my crap and questioning my existence after I got jumped by a rat.
Intriguing can't wait to see Berry grow more as a person and see his career grow.
Unquestionably A star of a person
Much respect Barry! You’re going to grow into amazing roles - can’t wait to see you in future. You were the best role in Deer by far! 🙏
So happy you turned out as you did. You're brilliant.
Great interview.Very honest and humble.I was an xtra in Rebellion(Irish Citizen Army) and Black 47(peasant).Its nice and uplifting to hear about your life and times and continued success to you!Went to see you in the cinema a good few times and the films are great.

I am such a fan of Barry. Watched him in Sacred Deer first and then it seemed he was in every other fantastic movie I put on. I am always happy to see him on screen, he is such an incredible talent. Calm with Horses is another wonderful performance, not to mention Banshees. He is a scene stealer and I cant wait to see what he does next.

Lol, even before that I'm used to watching movies by myself since I move quite often and it's a hassle to organise going out to a movie: like which time fits everyone, who's coming etc. And sometimes I like to watch some not so popular movies as well. So it's easier for me to just go to by myself. And yes I've rewatched Eternals twice (not just for Barry though).
@valeaves
2 жыл бұрын
@@jonoave I do that, too, but most people seem to find it odd. I actually don‘t get the point of going to the cinema with others because you don‘t talk during the movie anyway. But sometimes it‘s nice to discuss stuff afterwards ofc
I think that people in the East of the Country have very little knowledge of the Great Famine because it did not impact the wealthier anglasysed part of the country. People from the midlands and Atlantic side of Ireland grew up with the memory, famine graveyards and old workhouse buildings in most towns. It surprises me sometimes how little people from the East know about Irish history and culture.
