In August 2010 in the heat of Cairo, Barry Kemp agreed to an interview with me - an Egyptophile but not yet an Egyptologist. He met me in Tahrir square and we filmed with a simple Sony camera in his office. This little interview (one of the few captured with this great man) in its small way inspired me on my path to future studies.
