He has his wife of....Forever! It's beautiful and I am convinced she keeps him going. He decided to be grounded, honest, and giving when he was young - he promised himself something and he stuck with it. (and if I remember correctly, he was standing on a pier and his twin brothers make that pact, too).

I love how he speaks about his brothers and wife. You can see, in his eyes, how much he loves them.

It is such a credit to the Bee g ees that besides their enormous talent they continue to attract people like themselves. We all identify with their love talent and intellect . All of you are a credit to them and that's what they hoped to achieve..we can honor them forever with raising our children to recognize true talent and goodness..an mostly love for all .❤❤❤❤

I am amazed by Barry Gibb and how grounded he truly is after achieving a great level of musical success. He wasn’t seduced by all the fame, money or women. Deeply committed to his marriage, he is humble and kind. So heartbreaking that he lost his three younger brothers.

Barry will forever be the humble iconic legend. Robin, Maurice, and Andy... may you forever rest in paradise with those harmonic voices and talent.

NOONE could ever take their place…they were such a huge part of my growing up year’s and into womanhood…they were alway’s there, whatever decade it was, with music so appropriate for the time’s u were living in…no better songwriter’s can compare to these musical geniuses whose life’s work rode on the backs of each other…not complete without all 3….so sorry, Barry…but it was a great ride, wasn’t it ?????….and u left your art and made the World a better place, even just by simply listening to one of your timeless songs….thank u for that life’s work….

I just can’t imagine her pain. I lost my precious beautiful son at 23 and 7 years later it’s still is heartbreaking and feels guttural. I can’t comprehend how one has to live through this three times . God bless her.. God bless Barry, Maurice , Robin, and Andy❤️♥️

Always remember Barry that you and your brothers are very loved and will always be appreciated for the great music you have given us for so many years. Stay strong and know that Andy, Maurice, and Robin are never truly gone as long as they are remembered and remain in your heart.

if i could hug one person, it would be barry. he seems so down to earth. his brothers should still be here.

The brick wall analogy is very eye opening and revealing about us all. We can think back and remember our carefree youth and throw caution to the wind. Then reality rises up and slaps us in the face, time to take responsibility for our own actions. I pray for our youth and one could hope they grab life to better themselves and those around them. Thank you Barry for reminding myself to show compassion and love for our children.

Debi Lee When I met my future husband he had gotten A brand new 1969 Camaro. He was so tall 6’7” & myself 5’ 1 I’ll never forget The Bee Gees were playing. They still to me Will be the greatest group. I can’t imagine how it feels to be the last brother! Nice talking To you.

His heart break is visible , we are heartbroken for you and with you ♥️ The Bee Gees were the bomb 👍🏻 Fabulous band with the longevity that stars of today could only dream of ! Extremely special and talented men .

Really grew alot appreciation to Barry Gibb. Wasn't much of a Bee Gees fan as I was rocker more than disco fan at that time. But lately really got to be a fan who he is all about. Amazing writer incredible artist. Most of his love for his wife you just don't see that anymore. Great example for all the young people out there.

Never realized what a good man Barry is. Love the music so much.

Justin Bieber appears to be one of those who wants publicity more than he has the talent for. Perhaps he needs to face himself and think. He's not in the same LEAGUE as the BeeGees !

From reading the documentaries about the Bee Gees, they had a very happy childhood, loving each other, closeness and respecting each other as brothers. They have a God-given gift, talented musicians. I love listening to their music.

They were from a very poor family. They immigrated to Australia because of their poverty. Their Father was gone for long periods of time after they moved to Australia because he had to go find work. Their mother made all of their performance clothes from scraps of fabric. When they were children growing up in Manchester, they spent their time on the Streets and did petty crimes. After they moved to Australia they made an oath to each other that the criminal activity would stop, and they would make a go at music. The rest is history. They really need to make a movie about this group.Their story is very inspirational.

So sad, to see him alone, in a sense he is a broken man. What else could anyone expect? It appears he has not given up and I am so glad to see that. To me, the Bee Gees harmony is among the best in the business. Most extraordinary!!

I believe the Gibb family mom and dad who took their three (?) boys from England to Australia all those years ago were decent hardworking people who imparted good values to their brood. Barry Gibb has been to the top of the world and has also met his share of tragedy and sorrow, but he has never abandoned that upbringing ... keepin' it real every time

Very true. Their dad was a performer but when his group disbanded he had to get a job doing ? I forget. He was a great inspiration when they started performing, and mum made all their clothes, washed everything by hand (no washing machine). Their parents support would have meant everything. You're forgetting younger brother Andy who passed away in 1988. Barry's elder sister Lesley still lives in Australia, she had 8 kids!! lol Somehow with all the fame and fortune, Barry never changed. As you said he kept it real. I have so much respect for him. What a sad day when we lose this beautiful man.
